It's a bullshit law to keep people buying in country instead of importing something for super cheap. If you're going to import a vehicle into Canada, you'll need to be living here. I suppose you could have it imported right to Columbia, but I'm not sure how their laws work. And no worries, man.

It only takes a few seconds of T88 turbo to get you moving in each gear. Full throttle and 9000rpm shifts he should be going 320ish gearing up to 6th and it probably can handel 10,000rpm if the RB30 setup isn't to heavy to spin that fast safely.

ever driven a skyline with a T88? or been in one? This car has a T04Z if memory serves me correctly, not a T88. And what does turbo selection or engine speed have to do with how fast he will be going in 6th? Do you even know what gearbox or ratios the car is running?

Not the numbers but i've seen the factory gear for mph and it should do either 240 or 250mph in top gear at 10,000rpm. Older versions have a completely different tranny and the Getrag's were used in lower reving supras since 93' so you put that tranny up to a RB and you get crazy things. I run an R32 with Garrett GT2871 turbo and have plans for an RB30 with twin GT2871's matted to a modified bellhousing Getrag, so yea i do know allot.

The car has a hks ssqv with a purple insert.

And NO! it's not the ssqv with the gold insert that makes it give the high pitch whistle.

My friend has the exact same blow off valve on his turbo 5.0 mustang it gives off one kick ass sound compared to the regular ssqv with the gold insert.

Even on the mustang it sounds kinda like compressor surge but it definatly isn't!!!!!

umm, my BOV's are plumbed back and i don't get compressor surge........ A propperly designed plumb back system, and even an ATMO system (compressor surge with BOV equipped cars generally occurs due to there not being enough pressure to open the valve) shouldn't be giving compressor surge, as the whole idea of the BOV is to avoid compressor surge...

Yep that is defenetly compressor surge, caused by having no bov. If you run a turbo setup and not bov/bpv or plumb back valve and an intercooler it will make that noise. As the boost hits the shut buterfly valve it goes back to the turbo , making that sound

Imagine, you keep on hi-rev on a 950hp engine just to shift gears dont you think it might kill the engine sooner? Plus, he shifted early because he is on a public road and he is being aware of other road users. The driver cant drive at all? Have you been in a a car that fast before?
