  • mouth piece sos, thanks T-City Champ!!!

  • buena exhibicion Brian, cuando regresas a hermosillo??

  • Ortega stops his assault to put his opponents mouth piece back in his mouth, What a Sport!!

  • Nice mount. Good bjj.

  • nice work brian

  • Amazing athleticism.... Brian Ortega is a name to remember. I saw a clip where he retrieved a basketball from a very high place in a basketball court and I knew he was a suberb athlete. It was nice of him to put the mouth guard back in the opponent's mouth while he had the guy mounted in the final match.

  • @pckim93 i wouldnt say athleticism, its more he had very good fundamentals and all of them had like next to zero.Without head shots its a grappling match.

  • Nice hope he becomes a pro ,, je has my full name x)

  • Evidence of a calm fighter ... Put the other guys mouthpiece back in for him! OMG is that funny!

  • my step brother worked with him in the gracie academy in torrance at the same age and now hes a brown belt

  • the boy needs to work on his techniques. there is no need for so long fights. less use of muscles most use of mind and speed. keep up the good work. pankratiastis 2 - greece.

  • 5:42 did the judge just do a cartwheel?

  • yeah. that ref's got some skills

  • haha sry i have to laugh cuz i noe brian!!! GO GRACIES!!!! u guys need to be soo thankful that u guys can do wat u luv - fight. I wud luv to b able 2 do the same but i cant so do ur best and brian, ya i admit it u r pretty good. ;-) haha!!

  • Were all the techniques demonstrated by Brian taught at Gracie Academy in Torrance?

  • whens the next pankration championships? when is Brian fighting again?

  • the guy brian fought last, tough fighter. i know him personally and he's a beast standing up.

what gracie academy do you train at.

  • Torrance

  • Sorry but that last guy didnt not look like a beast you just think so cause you know him lol. And there is only 1 Gracie Academy

  • @themotionmaster yea the last guy looked really good honestly, for being 17 or under with a stand up background the kid looked good, almost caught t-city (lol) in 2 subs right away, a little gracie training and he would've finished him with that triangle, and u saying theres only one academy shows how much u know about the sport

  • @JMoore4291 Ha you said he almost had the triangle you kinda need to have the arm in to get the triangle lol shows how much you know and there is only one gracie academy its in torrance its the head quarters. That is not good stand up swing punches from your hips and not one straight punch and he needs to keep his left up ha anyone can throw punches you to practice in order to grappling

  • yea im done arguin with you, theres 38 gracie academies, i knew there was plenty, i go to the one in lagrange indiana, so go ahead and change up your argument to make it sound like u didnt say there was only 1 academy, youtube people...

  • @JMoore4291 "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy" is a registered trademark.

  • @willparadigm right, exactly where i go

  • @JMoore4291 there arent, there is one thats known by everyone as the gracie academy, the rest are dojos of helios other kids and extended family, they dont teach the same way and arent trademarked.

  • @billysue2 wrong, there is a GRACIE JIU JITSU ACADEMY in lagrange indiana where chet schemahorn a black belt professor in gracie jiu jitsu under rorian gracie teaches... still confused?

  • @JMoore4291 That's a "Certified Training Center" not a Gracie Jiu-jitsu academy. Chet is a level 1 certified instructor, not a full professor unless there's been a drastic change very recently. The only one confused is you. The name of the business is LaGrange Gracie Jiu-jitsu. Ask Chet and I'll do the same.

  • @MrMZaccone chet is a level 4 under rorian, the website says level 3 because it hasnt been updated recently and its funny how u act like u kno more about the school i go to, i dont need to ask chet because i already know the answer, i got there 5 times a week and uve never been in the same city in your life so i guess you'd kno

  • @JMoore4291 That's funny, the certificate in Chet's video says level 1 but OK I won't argue that point. By the way, Stop misspelling Rorion's name it makes you look like an idiot.

  • @MrMZaccone gracie(one word)academy (dot) com / training _ centers(dot) asp?s=556#l

  • @JMoore4291 That video supports my contention not yours. The place you study is referred to as a "certified training center", not an "academy" in all the information you just led me to. It's also listed as level 3. Why don' you write "Rorion" (don't forget to spell his name correctly) and have him fix that. For the video I was referring to, it's obviously out of date as Chet's now listed as level 4. For that I obviously owe him an apology. Sorry Chet, guess I need to keep up.

  • @MrMZaccone now where do u get this level 1 info from

  • @JMoore4291 Hey! guess what, the level on the academy site changed from 3 to 4 while I was looking at it. So now we have no argument except what to call it. It's still a certified training center.

  • @MrMZaccone ok ill send u a pic to ur email monday of what our gym says on it

  • @MrMZaccone to become a level 4 school you have to promote onw of your students to black belt and abram bottles, chets student, got promoted by rorian, rener, ryron, and chet, chet and abram are the only 2 people in the world to be promoted to black belt level in the official gracie academy without training full time at head quarters

  • @JMoore4291 Now, along with spelling their names right perhaps you should start capitalizing them as well. These are your teacher and his teachers man, show some respect.

  • @themotionmaster dude quit being an ass you have no knowledge of bjj... and you don't fight. and if you want to prove me wrong than we can talk some technical bjj and some other mma techniques what ever you want, de le riva guard, x-guard, boston crab, 50/50 guard, quarter guard, spider guard, turtle guard, s-mount, modified s-mount, these are just some different techniques that everyone knows by blue belt.

  • @billysue2 yes sir?

  • Not beast on the ground though, should crosstrain. I saw the fighter in him though. Great fight though as always GJJ overcomes all. -KINDREGARDS- ChavaMMA

  • @pinoypower247 theres only 1 called the gracie academy

  • @billysue2 I guess they kind of trade marked that themselves, to be honest theirs gracie barra, carlson, machados, alliance, and then thier affiliates. those are the main 4 schools that produce world champions year after year.

  • Sorry the music cuts off half way through. I originally put the entire video to several Linkin Park songs, but apparently they didn't give me permission to use them so the YouTube police told me I had to do and Audio Swap, which only gave me the option of adding a single song. Their selection was pretty limited so this was the best I could do. Sorry, Brian. You still wiped the matt with those guys! Nice work!

  • wow, nice technique. you can tell the difference between an amatuer bjj guy and someone who has trained with the graices for years. very nice work.

  • congratulation brian pinche flaco eres cabron, im your cousin el goyo el goyito i guess you remember me, i just want to say go brian go you got a great future just keep going as you're doing it, got my blessing and my support in this you're doing cousin say hello to your family. and great job body give it up

  • those guys all had a shit ground game, no defense from the mount, wild legs going everywhere. Great fighter though this brian kid.

  • 1:25

    beautiful hip throw brian!

    gracies trained him amazingly well!

  • thats my boy brian form the old block!

  • triangle from the mount. dang that's just sick! how that works is so weird...

  • spidermonkey

  • bri bri

  • OK - at 8:06 when the mouthpiece comes out and Brian puts it back in...That's classic. But, when Brian starts to get out of the circle(6:35)and he picks the guy up and brings him back to the center...That's awesome!!

  • Congrats Brian! Awesome moves....

  • Go Brian! GJJ FTW!!

  • Looks like he gave his opponants mouthpiece back to him at 8:15. Thats a first!

You have skills! Great to see the Gracie Academy represent!

  • That's my favorite part of the video!
