i saw slade about 4 or 5 times at the Newcastle city hall in the 1970`s . There were a very good live band

Great rock but what were they thinking? Slade was never about drugs and at this point it seems Noddy would have sung anything to get US FM airplay to appear cool.

Good christ, I love this band. Seriously, Listen to Play it Loud, Alive, Slayed?, Stomp your Hands, Clap your feet. This band rocks the dock. I don't understand how they weren't huge in Canada.

I've been looking for this song a long, long time. This was when Slade and Humble Pie were practically the same band - Noddy and Steve sounded the same, the guitars driving on, Rock On!

not the best melodi on this one for me, but it ROCKSSS!! And its live, the band is so tight ! I m a musician myself, and they have done their homework for sure. They also have a very special formula for themselves: The bass and drums is littelraly Rollin and thundering, with nice full guitar from Noddy, and screeming leads from Dave, on top the Distorted voice on the very catchy melodies. U dont find bands like this today. Made abit on some underground, or metal act, todays bands are "bought"

I saw them on the tour for 'Whatever Happened To ... ' - in fact I won the tickets from the local newspaper in a competition. They fully kicked arse. And then some. And a bit more.

And allegedly they were all burned out at this point - I cannot imagine what they must have been like in 1972 ...
