Apsara is not Khmer nor Thai. Apsara is from the Hindu mythology-The Churning of the Ocean of Milk(Samudra Manthan). Khmer and Thai should stop being so ethnocentric about this subject, and should rightfully acknowledge and credit India for this great cultural influences!
@siamsweeds This is not Thai dance. This is Cambodian dance, reinactment of the churning of milk according to Hindu methology. Thailand was never Hindu but adopted devaraja from Khmer.
This show is call Angkor-Gyeongju World Culture Expo 2006 which started from november 21, 2006-January 9, 2007 because i was there and went to see the show on that time 16 different countries when to perform at Siem Reap Angkor in Cambodia they will have another show call Angkor Wat Exposition 5 December 2008 - 31 January 2009 you can type Angkor Wat Exposition 5 12 2008 to 31 1 2009 you will see their Ad,
Actually it was in 2000. I remember after the "makor" dance..they invited the monks to come on stage and chant a blessing before the millenium countdown, followed by robam komrong pka, but I guess angkorwat didn't add that part in :(

@siamsweeds It called adopted. First, Siam adopted Khmer culture, then Khmer adopted Siam culture. Both culture are great. We are all big family.
