@sdrea91 Yo those balls can suck your dogs tongue into the little hole, which can kill your dog, im pretty sure there being recalled boss122334 2 years ago
Snopes has it as true "pimple ball" - The accident happened earlier this summer when a 10-year old Lab mix named Chai was playing with one of Four Paw's toys called the Pimple Ball with Bell. The ball suddenly became stuck on Chai's tongue, according to his owner Daniel R. of New York City. "While chewing on the toy, a vacuum was created
My Rat Terrior Domino is Black and Brown with a white streak down the back of his neck and everytime you say his name in an effectionate way he will cry or whimper, then come up to you and lay against you. Its so adorable^^ Hes also really passive too. He loves sleeping next to anyone whos laying down and really prefers the indoors. Hes always fun to play with though. I think he purposely bring his toy or milk bone around just so I will try and take it from him. Its suspect.
HAHAHA that is the best. I love those damn dogs. I have a mini foxy and he makes those noises too. I'm in process of uploading a video each day from my collection. Please check them out.
lmao, my Ratty, Hannah does the same damn thing if you try to take her chewies and toys away from her. But she's all growl and nothing more. I take her toys after the big bad scary growl and then she will just look at me like - "pout"
Like Avaliable said, rat terriers usually have their tails cut down to like 1-2 inches. Plus, it looks better =). When playing with my rattie, i could flip him upside down Lol. and he wiggles all his feet around crazily.
I disagree my Ratty has a tail my moms has a nub.. the tail looks better btw its mean my moms dog has a mangled tail and ears from botched crop jobs... BEFORE my mom got her shes a rescue dog.

I totally %100 hate those things. We had one that made the same sound. It also seriously bit EVERYONE in the family. He went for the neck of my beloved Mainecoon cat once for no reason at all. I hate to think if I wouldn't have been there in time to stop him. Much later after he nearly ripped my thumb in two ( I still have nerve damage) I was very happy one day when he decided to "run away".......
Sometimes I wonder if someone else took him in (then after getting to know him, took him to the pound), or if wild animals ate him somewhere out in the woods.
@NotAvailible123 My rat terrier doesn't have her tail clipped, I saw no reason to chop off my poor baby's tail :( I don't understand why it's so common to mutilate our pets.
I had no idea that sleeping under the covers was a rat terrier trait but mine does it every night! Then he gets back under there before I go off to work!
hhaa, my rattie is only 2 and she is tan, its soo cute how they crawl under the covers when they sleep, when i go to bed she alwase nugges me to move over so she can get under but she takes up sooo much room because ratties have such long mussley legs lol!
My Rat terrier makes that noise sounds excactly like that...she weighs 10.5 lbs... i love her so much...but don't try to take her Pigear from her she turn into Chuckie lol You can see her on my spot.......
Lol my rat terrier is 30lbs and he can be vicious. I swear he thinks he's huge. He's probably one of the best guard dogs. He barks loud if anyones at the door. Haha he is afraid of chapstick though lol
Urbanpope....what kind of toy is that??? Where did u buy it? I'd like to buy one for my dog too...he and Anubis have a similar personality, lol.....thanks!!
aww, I have a whinny, spoiled male rat terrier with a bobtail and he is the tiniest thing(10lbs) and hes not getting bigger. I wish he would place with toys, but nooo he has to go for our new socks. Yours is really cute.
well, ours aren't bobtails, but they have been docked(sp?). I was just wondering if you wanted one with a full tail or not. Guess by your answer you don't have a preference.
Personally I like short tailed dogs, like really short but not so short where they may have back problems in their older years.
I will say that it is easier to read our dogs emotions because of his tail. If his tail is arched all the way so that the tip is touching his back he is confident. Down lower he is wary. Between his legs he is scared.
My stepdad has a rat terrier and it's hilarious whenever he growls.

@NotAvailible123 If the breeder didn't bob the tail then it would have a normal tail, like my rattie from the shelter.

Some are born with bobtails no tails and long tails as I understand it. I picked the dog on intelligence and drive.
