@TheReMiXoLoGiST , Yeah boy!!! that was over three years, I ban Virtual DJ software, I hook on Serato now. It was a great program and equipment to start off on!!
m8, slow down the scratching, or simply just adjust the jog sensitivity and in my opinion (maybe not yours) it is a lot easyer to just use the cross fader instead of changing the volume (less movement ;))
Yo !! That was nice for a fist time. Guessing by the songs you are from Barbados.. Keep doing what you do. You know how we Bajans do what we do when we do.. lol lol... Big Up!!!
man u need to slow things down the reason ur slippin is the fact u have no control over wot u are doin...slow it down compose urself and try and get tighter to the beat...put the x-fader in scrath mode and use that instaed of the volume slider..also u cud try and choose and easier tune to practice to something like drop it like its hot...may not be ur cup of tea but easy to learn with....keep practising....dj infrared
yea always try ur best! ;) can u tell me wich is the name of the song at 2.30? its a really cool song i would like to know the name so i can use it in my next set :D
Install the driver, it tells you to plug in the USB cable, install Virtual DJ. Click on Hercules remix panel and run it in asio 16bit 48000khz 8ms, open virtual dj, set to headphones with 1&2 to your speakers and 3&4 to your headphones. Sound driver hercules asio, in the input/output make sure you have hercules selected for midi input. That's it
I just purchased a new Hercules RMX dj controller and installed the driver + software. When I tried it out, the software started stumbling and didn't run solid. Is my laptop the problem? I have an ASUS intel core 2 duo, 2 GHz, 2G Ram, 160 Memory, with Microsoft Windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 2.
Is that good enough for everything to run? If yes, then what might be the problem? The direct X version 9 is also installed.
Ye man!!... Red bull an guiness... R u jamaican?... Haha spin dat dancehall seeeeelectaaaahhhh!!... Yea i have da same console and i use virtual dj but i freestyle on youtube and was wonderin if u wanna remix sum of my trax?.., Hit me up... KING X.,, 3 KINGZ
It's impossible to scratch with hercules rmx..As i own the console, the problem is located at the fact that the jog wheels don't turn round and round as the turntables do
I was jus showin someone who wanted to buy, how the scratchin works, that was my 1st attempt ever on scratchin. i not into that, buh i will take ur advice if i take tricks serious.
finally a video where someone is scratching! i dont need to see mixing.. i want to see the scratching. i bought mine back when it was first released and i have not even had a chance to use it yet... good job bro!
@thejuice32 it was nothing, dont mind the video, I aint take down the vid to see my improvement over the years!

Hey everyone,
I just purchased a new Hercules RMX dj controller and installed the driver + software. When I tried it out, the software started stumbling and didn't run solid. Is my laptop the problem? Use the crossfader to cut mate. . .
As long as your having fun and are in time, go for it. Volume faders are a poor choice for cutting though. use the crossfader.
mix on.
