Hm, wow, now I understand something:

A normal commander, upon losing contact to a ship of his would probably open communication with:

"GA Unit 2, please respond."

Tact is just that close to Ranpha he addresses her on a first-name basis and without any visible concern that she's hurt (he trusts her that much). Of course there is that with him and his very laid-back commanding style, but it seems that his closeness accounts to his communication style here.

Makes more sense now :D

This is a game. The first game in a trilogy, to be precise. You get this cutscene as you complete the Tact+Ranpha version of the storyline.

I think Tact says, "Hello? Hello? Ranpha-koi?" Koi being an affectionate term for one's love. But it's hard to tell if he called her that or just said her name and something else.

I don't like the Moonlit Lovers art too much, I like the Eternal Lovers X3 In ML she kinda looks like a little kid. (To me)
