Well, Socialism itself is bad. Communism included. But Social Democracy? Well, it's 90 % Capitalism and 10 % Socialism. The good part on the capitalism is, free-trade, freedom and the control on your life. But, if you fail in stock market, for example, you're ditched. That's where socialism steps in. The government and others will help you on your feet, until you can make it on your own, get a job, etc.
