Here are the problems with this:

1) Database was copied to solution explorer , that means that if you make any changes on SQL Server it will NOT be updated on proyect database.

This is a great example of how to pass one value. Could you show me how to do this for multiple states. Maybe you could have a checkbox column in a datagridview and have the user select multiple states and then generate the report from the states chosen.

I really dont like the DataSet usage because i have feeling i dont control anything and in background it does whatever it wants. If i want to pass some source from code what would it accept? Is it smtn like DataSource so u can pass any IEnumerable, or combining with LINQ could this control take IQueriable as its source.
