  • Japanese kids are lucky because they can learn judo, kendo, and karate anytime they want. Also they have many places to practice. But in Vancouver, there are only 4 kendo dojo.

  • ARIGATOO SENSEI,SUGOI NO VIDEO DESU.

  • im 15 and i do kendo

  • i want to see japenese children fighting and throwing rocks at each other

  • me is kid XD

  • I love japanese kendo kids!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • Thank you very much. Do you have any connection with the world naginata association? I am interesting in doing some shows about the naginanta.

  • No, sorry, I haven't. But I think you can contact with them and speak about your plans.

Good luck! And sorry I have been away for so long!

  • mmm, so we never got to know why the boy choose to learn kendo...strange editing

  • While I appreciate the attempt to educate the uninitiated, the interview style here is horrible. At least twice, the American man asks questions and we don't get to see the Japanese kids' answers. Good try, but keep working at it.

  • I checked out your site. Are you really sure you have the expertise to be making such sweeping critiques? Maybe I am wrong, but I certainly did not see it in your work. That is hardly to say my work is not deeply flawed, but I felt your time would be better used improving your own craft rather than developing unfounded delusions of superiority.

  • Ive been in the media field for 2 years now and from what he asked...it was fine. You dont have to ask hard questions...just ask questions they can answer without any hesitation. If they have to think for too long, they wont answer how they would want to.

  • It's been a year, but I think the maker of this video and I PMed each other privately and he realized I was just trying to offer some constructive criticism and it wasn't an attack. Despite having more than double his subscribers now, I don't feel "superior." I enjoy watching all takes on living here in Japan. I wish him the best of luck filming what for him must be a passion.
