I was a HUGE Dan/Serena fan, but this is SO MUCH BETTER!!! Carter and Serena are the BEST Gossip Girl couple (always excluding Chuck and Blair, obviously). They have so much chemistry, and I think I like them because (like with Chuck and Blair) Serena basically turns Carter into a good person. (plus, it helps that he's totally gorgeous). This scene is so beautiful!!!

I agree. Dan and Serena are done. I like them more as siblings/friends. Serena and Carter are more interesting. I like the fact they seem so much alike. When they bring in Serena's dad, Carter has to be involved somehow. I do hope they bring in the dad. it will be a great storyline.

@heythereirene finally! someone says it. I loved them once upon a time, but then writer's keep beating the dead dog with that pair. It doesn't do either Serena or Dan any good that they keep being thrown back together only to realize that they never work ... it makes Serena look like she takes advantage of Dan, and makes Dan look like a chump for falling into old familiar patterns again. Sad thing is, I like these two characters, just not romantically anymore.

Yeah it exceeded my expectation so much. I really thought that this was gonna be a random fling for Serena but I think this is gonna be alot more serious than most people anticipated. This scene seems to indicate that anyway. There is so much emotion behind that kiss. I loved Serena/Dan in season 1 but I think they kinda ruined them in season 2 for me so I am kinda over them now. Serena/Aaron were ok for me but I think this pairing is probably gonna be my favourite Serena pairing ever.

These two have the potential to be truly epic if the writers give them a chance. I love me some Chuck/ blair but for me they got the premiere stolen away from them by these two. They were truly fantastic in this scene especially. Everything is perfect about this scene. The chemistry, their wardrobe, the acting, the dialogue, the setting.
