Perhaps go listen to a song like Eternity's Child by Mors Principium Est if you want heavy. i liked this band when i listened to the first riff. i was like fuck this is pretty heavy. then the rest of the song ruined it. so before i say anything like "this band is horrible", i'll just say that they're on the verge of being good. if you take out the terrible open chord breakdown riffs (cause thats the worst fuckin part), and clean vocals...and jumping up and down on stage like homos.... but, then that just leaves the intro riff. 30 seconds of good, 3 minutes of terrible.
