  • they made a new model caled siren white and ill haz vid tomorow

  • They shouldve changed the Green LED on the Xbox Button to Blue. The Colors just dont go well together. :/

  • Do they still sell them amd where or what website?

    Thanks

  • @julesalinas There is another controller which lights up (if you cannot find a tron one) there is a batman which changes colors. (for ps3 and xbox)

  • they shudve made the xbox guide leds blue too

  • muy lindo

  • Awesome review. Very informative. Exactly what I was looking for.

  • @terradusa4219 Thanks. Glad to be of service.

  • Cool

  • SHit is sick:)

  • You can make it by buying a led controlller clear. Then paint it a dark black but but a decal on the controller like tron writing and some lines. But those on efore you paint black. Then put a clear coat and the lights will only show up where the decals were. Make sure to remeber the decals after painting obvisouly

  • @Lilpoggfilms Still be missing the rubber grip deals , but at the same time if you are gonna go as far as to home make it, I'm sure you could do some cooler LED paint-over then just a simple Tron design. You could be on to something there :-P

  • @TheEvilPaintballer why you lie

  • As in why did I open the package so I could use the controller I bought? I haven't opened the controller itself, although others have done such things to change the LED color of the Xbox Gem (to match the controller)

  • thats beast but y did u open it?????????

  • Whoa, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?!?!?!

  • @acdeditch99 Comments below actually answer it numerous times, but I keep on retelling people. I got it from Gamestop. If you can't find one there, try the internet. Those are probably the best bets.

  • @acdeditch99 get it at gamestop.com

  • definition of epic

  • During July 2011, my newly created website mazuma360(dot)com is giving away a TRON Xbox 360 Controller

  • @mazuma360 Groovy. There's been a slew of folks asking where to get them from, so now (1) has a chance.

  • :D These look so cool!!!

  • wicked!

  • I got mine from a local gamestop, although you could probably find them right on PDP.com as well

  • @forthetwilight pdp sold out of them in 9 hours, they made a yellow version, sold it out in 30 min

  • donde puedo comprar ese control(where I can purchase this control)

  • i have this but i put a sticker on the tron lol

  • what if your trying to fix it from the inside I cant find the seventh screw that the wired controller have????

  • @shadowyoda9000 Having not taken apart, I really couldn't tell you. If you look around google, something maybe will pop up. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

  • @shadowyoda9000 that ok

  • I would think that if everthing is blue why cant the 360 guide light be blue instead of green, looks weird.

  • So would you recommend the Limited Addition Silver xbox 360 controller or this?

  • @Nilesdragon52 Having never used the Limited Addition Silver controller, I couldn't really steer you either way. WHen it comes to the Tron controller, however, your essentially getting a normal wired Xbox controller that has the light-up LEDs that you see in the video. If the the Silver controller doesn't have special features, then I would say its purely asthetic preferance, but again, I haven't used the Silver controller, so I can't really make that call.

  • Good review..thanks alot man..

  • where do you get these at?

  • @instrumentalmaster I have gotten mine at gamestop, but you could most likely easily do a google search for "tron controller" and whichever system you where looking for and it would show you some results.

  • Does this sick controller work with the earforce x11 turtlebeach headset if you arent sure could you please check and let me know thanks alot

  • @CarsickFurball From what people have told me in the comments below, yes it does.

  • @forthetwilight and what about the tritton's ax pro?

  • @bl0wthefl0w As long as it is just the plug itself (like a normal pair of earphones) and not the base unit attachment like you would find on the oldest 360 headsets, then it should work fine.

  • @forthetwilight thx dude! =D

  • I WANT ONE

  • @gfr425

I wanna talk privately. It's stupid for me to say if front of everybody.

  • @Vf5rules1 seriously man, if you guys are gonna talk to each other by all means go ahead and do it, but can we stop making me clean up the 50 clutter messages of "Seriously, I wanna talk"? Nothing against either of you, but good lord man, your almost making me do more work than my actual job does keeping the comments clean! Lol.

  • Such a stupid thing, great for making money for the TRON publishers.

Nobody will even remember this in 2 years time.

    Rubbish.

  • @columewart Sounds like someone is mad they don't have one. Custom controllers are something that never go away - even ones hat just have a different paint scheme. No need to be rude about it though.

Course, people said the same thing about the wii's motion controls and abou 3D movies. We all see what happened there.

  • @forthetwilight Well, to be a lil clear, you are being rude to him lol.. He's talking smack on TRON publishers because of an opinion about the controller, while you are calling HIM jealous. Just so we are clear. BTW, it's not easy being jealous of a wired controller in 2011. ;)

  • @Clyaton I know. Ain't America great?

But in all honesty, a person making a controller that we all want is hardly a reason to say they are just capitalizing on Tron itself - I mean, the control is solid isn't it? I have had no issues with it thus far, it still shines bright and functions fine. Now, if they had made a bad controller, then certainly I may be in an uproar, as we may see in another product review if I ever get off my lazy tuff and make it.

;) Im jelous of his jelous-ness.

  • @gfr425 I'm told yes, because the turtle beach does not use the old 1st generation base unit on the mic plug. Since I lack drive to spend that much on a headset, I cannot confirm or deny from first-hand knowledge.

  • @zarifalvi because with how the wii works having a wired controller would just cause more damage. Either way, I'm more than happy to go slaughter giant dinosaur wannabes in MHTri with a glowing wiimote. I'll most likely put a review up for it somepoint or another, when I'm finally back from vacation.

  • @forthetwilight mh tri ftw cant wait for mhp3 for psp ;)

  • Why does the worst console have to be wireless, fuck the wii

  • "You're going to be speechless anyway"

    Classy pun of the day!!!

  • No chatpad :'( haha

  • @voseAKUMA I don't really notice any real differance, but at the same time the dpad is a bit nicer than the defualt controllers, since it does only have the four way hat to it, as opposed to the 8 way diaganols the defualt controller has. A little more precise control, but I don't personally notice any responsiveness difference.

  • I have this controller and the sensitivity is not good. I play mw2 with high sensitivity and for some reason the joysticks move only when you apply 3/4 of the movement. If that makes sense. But yeah, returning it. But looks damn cool.

  • @voseAKUMA That's odd, there's already been numerous people who have had no trouble with the sensitivity. Maybe you have a larger sensitivity to the joysticks sensitivity though, because I have had no problems with any shooters on high sensitivity or otherwise setting. Always good to have more opinions though, because I'm not the greatest when it comes to noticing minute changes in stuff like that.

  • @forthetwilight oh what. Are you saying it responds exactly like the stock xbox controller? Probably should go back and get another.

  • You say it has a better dpad but have you play a fighting game with it? If yes, is it better that the stock 360 controller?

  • @LockeLinus815 If for no other reason than comfort, yes. If your big into the fighting games though, there exists a 360 controller with "transforming" dpad, I hear tell its great for fighters. I do not personally have on though, so I can't honestly tell you which way.

  • how much are they???

  • @TheNoodle97 Depending how/where you get one, somewhere from 50 to 60 USD.

  • that is so awsome i saw one for 49.99

  • That would be cool if they only made a tron limited edition xbox 360 s console to boot!

  • @ericolv2 That is probably one of the best ideas I have ever read. Makes me kinda want to take a dremel and some liquid cooling to the ole 360 chassis and see what I can do. :)

  • Atleast they could of made the guide button blue 2

  • It would be cool if the buttons were black and the letters would glow. Also, the d-pad should have glowing arrows on it. Oh, and the guide button should glow blue instead of green. Such simple ideas that would make it so much better...

  • Yeahhhhh!

  • i have a question. you said that only the new mics they made works for this controller. so i wouldn't be able to use my turtle beaches with this controller?

  • @Aldridgesc22 As long as it doesn't have that little base unit on where it plugs in, it should be fine. The problem with the old generation mics are that the base unit (the two little prongs next to the actual mic plug) caused the mic plug to not go in far enough for it to be detected. The new generation plugs are just the plug at the end (you can check my review of the MW2 throat mic to see what I mean about plugs).

  • would be alot nicer if the buttons lit up as well....

  • @ldl0021 Very true, but at the same time Tron was always more about little light-up accents. Some of the light does shine through around the buttons, making this little ring of light, but I could also see where someone might want the actual letters and such to light.

  • i want this for my pc... :O

  • im so puting blue leds in there when i get mine ( in the player rings) GONNA BE SWEET!!

  • @sparky1570784 ah well maybe next time

  • @donutplay dont know what you mean by next time cus my brother actualy gave it to me as a early xmas gift and in less than 15 minutes i took that controller appart (carefully and successfully ) i wish i made a video cus theres a hidden screw underneath the metal sticker and in the inside is alot diffrent from your standard controller but) i opened the controller and swapped the leds to blue now it looks SWEET!!!

  • @sparky1570784 did you not tell me that you went and got some games instead from another comment... well nevermind. at least you got anyway, is it worth getting?

  • @donutplay its worth every penny, it came with a book and it said that it comes with the latest in controller technology and dam does it ever show i mean the buttons arnt squishy any more it is extremely responsive as goes for the anilog sticks greatly responsive and the right and left bumper are on a seprate mother board so there is again no squishy feeling to it as well as highly responsive. this IS the best controller i have ever used. it is wired but that means that its again better quality.

  • @sparky1570784 the wired part puts me off, but is it an actually "gaming" controller like you see others with the black ops eidition?

  • @donutplay in my opinion i think its better than call of duty one in looks and slightly in sensitivity but this controller doesnt have is the ability to switch to "precision aim mode" slows down player movement)

  • @sparky1570784 but the cod one doesnt have the ability to have neon glows on it. win win for tron, well enjoy your controller

  • @sparky1570784 Why ever would you want to slow down movement? Lol, to each their own really. Some people out there won't play a game without their 'rapid fire' controllers, but way I see it is if the controller is altering how I play, then I'm just not getting the full experience. With the money we gotta drop on games these days, I like to get the most out of it, and glows (for me) are more fun then extra features that effect the game.

  • @sparky1570784 The only thing that would be cooler is to change the entire controller's glow. (honestly, why just blue? even the original tron had reds and yellows and blues, even some purple/pinkish color)

  • @forthetwilight i think blue is a badass color for it but thats just preference the concept controller was orange so i think it has to do with the main character of the movie hes in a blue suit. it would be realy cool if you could change the color from the dashbord or somthing ( another button would kinda ruin it ) but if you wanna take it appart and change the leds yourself there 0603 smd leds you can get them on ebay and theres atleast 50 leds in the controller excluding the player leds

  • @sparky1570784 Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the blue as well. However, I can't ignore how greatly amusing it would be to me if one was to have, say, four of these controllers, and four friends over playing a game, and each controller was a different color. Sassy, thats what that is, sassy :)

  • i got ths for ps3 i hate the analog sticks there like really sensitive and it suks for cod tht the only thing bad bout it otherwise it good

  • @kawasaki9314 Honestly, if you ask most the pros who play FPS games, they normally have their sensitivites cranked up anyways, but I haven't noticed any super-sensitive analog sticks on the 360 one, so maybe its just the PS3 version,

  • @forthetwilight hey sinse you have this controler should i get this , or the fable 3 controller ?? , thnx

  • @EVILICIOS NO! get the Tron controller, fable 3 may be wireless, but it's fable 3, the tron one looks much nicer i don't think you'll regret it if you went for the tron version

  • @donutplay thanks for ur openion man, but the only reason i may not get the tron controller,: is thats its wired, that means it can maulfinction pretty easy, i dont want that to happen :(

  • @EVILICIOS Malfunctioning doesn't happen because it's wired - if anything wireless leaves more room for things to be lost "in translation." The only problem usage wise would revolve around potential trips or unpluggings of the cable itself, which personally rarely happens around me. We are talking probably (I haven't measured, so its a guess) a 6 foot cable here, so it does offer slack, but some people do have large rooms.

  • @EVILICIOS i don't know about malfuntioning but it looks sick. it's annoying that's its wired aswell, in this day and age

  • Comment removed

  • @EVILICIOS I can't really give a comparison of this towards the fable 3 controller since I don't have it, but my assumption would be that the fable 3 controller would be much like the reach and other such themed controllers, which is just a re-skinned normal controller. My opinion? If you need a lot of distance to play in, and don't want cables or USB extensions laying about your floor, then the fable would probably be your better bet. If your looking for which one look sharper? By far the Tron.

  • Very nice video, hope you are enjoying it!

  • @PDPCandace Absolutely loving it. Best part is, the only real downside (the 2nd gen mic jack) has led me to pick up another item that I will post a review for...whenever it is I can tear myself away from side projects to get it done that is.

  • looks awesome

  • I don't like how everyone ISN'T actually reviewing the controller though. Is it because there's no real difference with the regular controller that, because nothing really stands out, you just pass right over reviewing that aspect?

What I'm really asking is how are the shoulder buttons, the joysticks, the face buttons, etc. How does it feel after hours of play?

I already know it's glowey and looks cool, I just need to know how it really feels the best you can convey such a trait.

  • @mratomic7 My video reviews normally dont go into as much detail as the written ones that accompany them - these all get posted to my blog that i use. Essentially, its a normal controller that'll make your hand sweat a little more (rubber grippies do that), that lights up. Button press wise, stick rotation wise, it all feels the same to me both feel and lag wise, with the only noticable exception the d-pad (like mentioned in the vid) being a 4-toggle instead of the 8 normal controllers have.

  • Is the blue light quality good, or okay,

  • @Thisisthedudenumber2 I would say that its pretty good, I mean, it'll hurt your eyes playing at night if you look at it too much. Granted, your hands cover the bars where the blue shines through as you play (at least, the larger two), but its still quite lovely.

  • Good video! Would have been nice to have a "daylight" shot to better see the grips and mic jack, but it sure does look pretty with the blue trim lights...

  • @avenger534 Sorry about that. If I where in my summer place the lighting would be better, but the room I'm currently in for the winter only has one window, and its blocked by the screen I use for the projector. I'll keep it mind for next time I run into a review for a controller though.

  • don't forget tron evolution game comes out dec. 7th
