I like to do once in a while a "20 years ago this month" segment and it shocks me that this was a hit now 20 years ago. Although musical nostalgia ages better than other pop forms such as fashion (I don't miss that Gumby cut because of you know who) and technology, it saddens to see this as a bygone era so soon, before Internet, cellphones everywhere, 8/16-bit video game systems (very very few 3D games). I wonder how Whitney looks back on her career and if she really cares.
