  • Thanks for your comment Mac i agree with you and I do fill In every hole even on a beach it doesn't look like I have on this beach as the same when dug was a different colour but I can assure you that I did .

Thanks again for your comment HH

  • @tonybazza im lookin at doin a bit of night hawking would u recomend this detector

  • I'd really be happy if you filled in your dig holes. I see that kind of sloppiness regularly and, in order to keep the detecting sites open for the next guy I've filled in their holes while wishing it was their heads I was using in the hole. I've had property owners tell me that they wouldn't allow Metal Detecting on their land anymore because of the holes and the mess others have left. Do your friends a favor and leave the area as you found it.

  • @macd455 Thanks for your comment Mac i agree with you and I do fill In every hole even on a beach it doesn't look like I have on this beach as the sand when dug was a different colour but I can assure you that I did .

  • Thanks for the messages yep his bacon buttie was £3.20 and i only got one rasher dont tell the wife i am on a diet ! lol lovely beach to detect on though can see the hole family down there in the summer .

  • When I search a beach I do two things, first I think about all the areas people sit in, usually close to an icecream vendor. Second, go at low water, you can do the sand near the edge of the sea, the idea is, people standing about, swimming in that area at high tide, cold hands get smaller, rings drop off.

Good luck with your next hunt, dont give up on ya machine just yet.

  • Hey Tony, good little video, sent you a message about beach detecting. I know the beach you were at very well, matey in shop is a bit cheeky tho, he doesnt own the beach, its owned by a consortium. Apart from that, people walk their dogs, fish, surf and kids dig sand pits in it, would be a miserable sod who said you could'nt wave a bleeper over it !
