@oo77i Going around the world would be free indeed, but according to this theory of ghosts, it would take a long time, since you can't fly or walk through solid objects or teleport wherever you want. Jumping off of a building would be cool. Walking under water( depending on how deep you go ) would be meaningless because it would be pitch black. And jumping on a rocket ship? There just too many things that could end up not working out with that...

no it isn't a flaw. the protagonist was going to the bereavement centre - a place for the dead. so essentially the place is for the dead - one that exists in another realm. this explains why he can open the door. but in places in the living realm, he is unable to open doors.
