  • I HAD THE SURF GREEN ONE BUT I SMASHED IT

  • @JackDawsonRMS well , dont ask to borrow mine then.

  • Can you tell me what's better to choose Fender Stratocaster Classic 50's (Yours) or Gibson Les Paul Jr. 1958. I can't choose this by my self I want to play Green Day songs.

  • what are the necks like on these , thick thin????

    they are sweet!

  • @23132 Its a v neck. So its like big bot not really, lol its a different feeling you have to get used to.

  • Love that strat ! Want one bad. I have been a Humbucker , floyd rose guy for years but getting back into the old standards. Strats are just beautiful guitars .

  • how do u get ur equipment do u have a job?

  • are u a teenager or an adult?

  • @ROBandTHEfuzz I'm 18 years old.

  • @itsGoboboy how do u get all ur equipment, do u have a job or your parents usually or do u save up money etc

  • @ROBandTHEfuzz I pay for my own gear, accept to a few gifts.

  • best neck on any non american strat

  • you said it came in olympic white, but i cant find it anywhere ?

  • Well, it's no longer a Classic 50's Strat. Take that bridge pickup out.

  • nice, i'm constructing a vintage style p-bass, same color.

  • @dkstryker yes it takes a while to figure out

  • have same one in seafoam green :D got brandnew hardware and the tuning knobs i bought are like deeply scalloped and im in love with them

  • @pyschosquid I took it out because it wasn't strong enough.

  • need to work on your vibrato and scales u use a little more, try the harmonic minor scale.

  • no exactly the best playing...

    all im gunna say :P

  • @DarrenDemoraes A real musician would'nt say something like that.

  • @DarrenDemoraes not exactly the best spelling.

  • @DarrenDemoraes what a to**er you are. he's giving us his time by demonstrating his guitar and your slating his playing. i guess you are putting him down because are a whole lot better , like being a musician is a big competition?..you are very immature. nobody cares if you are better than him, chances are there are millions out there better than you so why bother? nob head

  • What happened to your 'Blue' billie joe strat? :O

  • if I had the same guitar I would've changed the pickups to DiMarzio YJM on the neck and an HS-3 on the bridge position, and the most substantial is to replace the volume pot into a 500 kOhm to get that more sustained tone...

  • the only thing keeping me from buying one of these are the thin vintage frets. after playing on medium jumbo frets, its hard to go back.

  • can i play omething heavier with this guitar?

    sorry for my ignorance

  • @naco09 yeah its great for heavy distortion, most ppl wouldnt think it can handle it tho

  • @naco09 The guitar comes with vintage single coils, which are not high output at all, but you can always swap out the pickups like I did.

  • Hey man sweet guitar and nice choice with the Daphne Blue. I want to buy on too.

What about tuning of the strings with the tuners and the tremelo/whammy bar. Does it stay in tune??

    Cheers!

  • @gigicalifornia It stay in a lot better tune than my ibanez that doesn't have a tremolo system at all. I would say it stays in tune 99% of the time, most non-locking tremolo systems don't.

  • im getting a usa made one though ill never feel good about a fender compleatly untill i have a 50s strat....maybe if im ever minted

  • wtf is billie joe?

  • Green Day Guitarist/Vocals

  • i have the exact same guitar without the SD **)

  • one interesting thing is that this guitar does not cost that much in the u.s, but in places like brazil the price you pay for the exact same guitar is unbelieveable, only rich people can afford. Just for you to have an idea, in a local store from my city, there is this exact same guitar from the video, same colour, daphne blue, and it costs something like 4.000 reais. 1 dollar is about 2 reais. So, this guitar costs 2.000 dollars in brazil. Don´t you think it is too much?

  • @gypsysunerainbow 800$ US , purchased in Seattle

  • @gypsysunerainbow thats a shame ....its a bit like australia ...because we are so far away , shipping is costly ..but the retailers are greedy too - with massive mark up .

I imagine you would pay a reasonable price for shipping -from say , texas ?

Maybe thats how you could get around it ...but its still not the same - because you like to try your potential new axe right ? ...ah , its a cruel world . greetings from oz.

  • sorry man ur shits weak

  • it's a mexican made?

  • are the Fender Ping vintage-style tuners easy to change strings with? cuz to me it seems a little complicated.

  • thanks!

  • hey is this better for bending than the american standard i played a 70s strat and i think the neck radius was 7.25 tooo

  • this guitar is awesome! its nice because its not the usual strat that everyone has. i have a picture of mine on my youtube profile page. check it out. ill soon have a video of it!

  • its that the same as the fernandes strat that billie joe uses?

  • Its the same color not brand

  • it's the model the fernandes strat is copied from

  • @102938475698

haha you look for the guitar to?? me to

but i'm gonna buy this one and install a duncan bridge pickup..;then you can get the sound of "blue" ;)

  • I already bought one of the same on daphne blue its a made in mexico strat really coool

  • great guitar!

  • I want this guitar.

  • looks good i like it
