  • My respect to these hereos who gave there everything...thankyou.

  • I'm reading the comments... and seeing as to no reason the National Socialists were "evil". Good job failed brainwashed fools.

  • craig isnt too smart all that rasist bullsht was in the 1800s and the 1950s and 60s but still continues unfortunately to this day

  • God bless these heroes who made this the land of the free.

    Veterans Network

  • That was Fantastic! Thank you so very, very, very much.

  • are there any interviews of this sort on youtube? I searched alot but never found what I was looking for.

  • TV? Hm...that will depend on what country are you living in I suppose. I live in the UK and I never saw any interviews with German veterans although I rarely miss programmes related to WWII. I want to know their honest opinion like what they felt on the other side, how did they view the enemy and the civilians of enemy's territory etc'

  • German soldiers have no incentive whatsoever to give interviews. It would not be an interview about what really happened but an interrogation of how the hell they could fight for such an evil government. Would you like to waste your time on that? It's always better to be part of the winning party.

  • hey man thats a bit harsh i mean yeah fuck germans did damage a lot of it but rememmber a lot of the germens where forced to fight or they get killed

  • @weverman2 as soldier you fight for the comrade on your side-thats it

  • never seen a german vet on tv? well i have many times in documentarys about ww2. but you're right they show much more allied vets. but you should search "dogfights", a show from the american history channel (pretty ultra-pro-american, but what do you expect....), where they also interview germans. but some translations are a bit off. e.g. when a german vet says "to take out the enemy" in german, they translate it as "to annihalate or to wipe out, etc", but again, what do you expect... -.-

  • We as Canadians owe our heritage and freedom to guys like that. My grandpa who passed away one year ago today was in the air force who flew missions in Europe and told me very few stories about the war but I always thanked him and regarded him as my biggest hero!!

  • listen at 4:29.he accidentally says 1944 instead of 1945.

  • Tough troops Canadians they kicked SS Hitler Jugend arse big time, and they were lucky some of the Canadians took prisoners.

  • I wonder whether it is possible to find the interviews of German WWII veterans (ex-Nazi soldiers)? You know, the view from the other side. Does anyone know where to find those?

  • your a dimwit. the regular german army was not a nazi army.

  • ok, ok no need to be so pedantic and touchy. Can you reply at least on my question if you know where to find the interview with German WWII veterans?

  • watch them on tv:) they get like 30 interviews a day, they even had an interview with the last remaining german ww1 veteran and there is over 3 million ww2 german veterans still alive in europe.

  • well done

  • Can anyone play the last post properly. Good try though. VETS forever.

  • That school should learn last post, since it is a Canadian school. Taps means nothing to the Canadian military We play Last post.

  • A true hero.

  • those men saw what we have nightmares about. respect!

  • Very cool - my dad was a bomber pilot in WW2, stationed in England, and flew missions over Europe. He was 19 when he started flying, and his brother - also a pilot- was shot down and killed over France. He used to say that his experiences made it hard for him to make friends, because he lost so many in the war.

  • I bet my mom's toy airplane can beat your dumbass' dad's bomber plane! :p

  • are you sure his last name is felstein?

  • ya, why ?

  • I totally laughed at Vimal at the beginning.

    I thought he played piano.

Robert Felstein is a cool dude.

He saw some good stuff. Met some chicks along the way I bet.
