@Brandondorf9999alt slats was looking because when slats was the 1st mgm lion it was a slient era of movies. in the late 1920s, jackie appears the 2nd lion of mgm appears at the logo but jackie was 1st to be sound era.

One of my favorite MGM Lion roars was with Tanner. It was the intro for the Chuck Jones directed Tom and Jerry cartoons, where Tanner roars, and then he turns into Tom.

Though if I saw some of these when I was younger, they'd probably scare me half to death. They kind of look a little intimidating at times. And Tanner, without the background music from the T&J cartoons can be REALLY intimidating (the background music sort of lessens the roar a bit). But that's just my opnion. Thanks for the vid
