Conflux felt like to me a bit hastily made, in-game, for the creatures' animations looked a bit stiff, except for Phoenix and Firebird.

Nevertheless, this video by Randolf was once again beautiful, bringing forth the true wondrocity of Conflux creatures. ^^

@TheTwilightUnicorn The entire Conflux actually was a total rush, as it was a replacement for some other faction that was slaughtered by play-testers. Therefore the Conflux of existing creatures.

@TheTwilightUnicorn its been the "forge" with all kind of ufo thing.

you cant find it in the gamefiles, but if youre lucky you might catch some pics around the internet

@TheTwilightUnicorn this is, because they actually planned to bring the alien faction into the game.

but the fans back then were against it, and they had to bring up "elementals" to cover for it.

this even fits into the might and magic setting.

if you might know, the "devils" are nothing else than spacefaring aliens (check M&M6 / 7 ).

the "good" aliens were to come to help defeat the "bad" aliens in HoMM3.

as the fans rather liked to keep a "classic" fantasy-feeling to it, this idea was scrammed
