Actually they got used up until a certain point. Having a pair of cute and cuddly twins is like striking a gold mine. It pays off now for them though because everything is in their names. But back then they were leeched on.

@denisespurlock not really. if you watch britney interviews from back in the days, she followed that route simply because she changed the directors she was working with and HE chose that route for her to take. but its different because the twins no longer follow the acting route and they are now into fashion whereas britney has always been following the singing career. i believe its different for the two careers' people's development. as for lindsey lohan.. well, i dont have much to say :P

i can't believe mary-kate thinks she's ugly! growing up i always thought mary-kate was prettier than ashley( i still do) although ashely is really pretty too. mary-kate has a VERY beautiful smile!

How can you compare to wonderful human beings? They are both GORGEOUS young women and work EXTREMELY hard. Mary-Kate and Ashley are the most positive rolemodels I have have every seen!

@ArctikpinkkPenguin This interview was done in probably around 2002-2003 so yes they were really sweet in this interview and yes they grew up. so she has a problem with cocaine its what happens a large majority of the time with child stars.

@EmmaElizabet - Emma, neither Ashley nor Mary-Kate is a drug addict. I don't know where you got that idea, but it's simply untrue. I'm only assuming you read a misleading, concocted story (utter and complete fabrication). Supposedly, one of the twins struggles with an eating disorder; however, again, that's only an allegation. Don't believe everything you read.

@ArctikpinkkPenguin - Neither one of the twins is a drug addict. Where did you get a notion like that? Were you reading the "Enquirer?" That's the problem with most of the tabloids. Don't believe what those type of magazines say because they're only trying to make money by telling tall tales.
