This guy's analysis of firearms makes someone who knows anything about weapons cringe. Also, the AK can typically shoot 3-4 inch groups at 100yards, which is accurate enough when most fighting takes place in 100-300 yards. Compare that with the m-16's 5.56 round; it becomes a 22LR past 150-200 yards or so but retains its accuracy. There's always a trade-off.

RPD= Dedicated light machine gun.

RPK= AK with a longer, slightly thicker barrel, and thicker receiver.

This guy is stupid, the M9 is an accurate and very good pistol and for a pistol its quite heavy not light! If you end up swinging and M16 at someone in close quarters you'll break the plastic and all the other fibres its made out of, not what the space shuttle is made out of. There were probably only a few available to the civilian market at the time, seeing as it was only introduced recently at the time.

It's a similar situation with the Glock 18, the only full-auto version available that hasn't been illegally modified. There less than 30 in private hands.

I was at that same place in vegas in July and fired the minimi... $100 for 80 rounds.

My only problem was that all the 5.56 rounds they give you are low velocity because your firing indoor. Although this doesn't affect the rate of fire it affects the speed of the bullet thus making the recoil a lot softer. I was able to get a group the size of a hand not even trying - firing long bursts.

Oh and you might want a wee shot or two on the desert eagle, they don't give you low velocity rounds ;)

Wrong, the RPD does not feed from magazines. The M249 SAW is capable of this but the RPD is not. The drum is just a carrying case for the belt, it is not a feeding device. The RPD is significantly different as it fires from an open bolt and is an entirely different system from the RPK. The RPK is more of a heavier version of the AK. The cyclic of the RPD is much higher than the AK as well, it is also more controllable. Or atleast it is to me.

The M16 and M4 both fire in either single shot, three burst, or full auto.

It depends on how the firing mechanism is set

They shoot the same round, but the m16 is longer, making it more accurate over long distances, the M4 is designed as a weapon that can do room clearing, and still be powerfull and accurate. Its an MP5 on steroids.
