There is actually a portal in the center of the map to make getting the top left button easier. The video doesn't really show it (you don't see the ball go through smoothly).
I tried prop_portals, but I still can't place them right. Having slanted surfaces doesn't help either. It's probably one of the most temperamental entities in the game.
@warnightify I could have used the panels for this, but I wanted something more resembling pinball flippers. I mean, 2 "just top" models and 2 arm_64's mounted on the side would emulate the function quite nicely. Although, I'd have to widen the gutter to make it look like the balls could go by. I do agree they need work.
I'm still working on it and have one more map to go before I release a third pack (mistook an unfinished map as completed due to filesize earlier).
Things like adfly might help, though it may be to soon. If you keep up your work on YouTube for a few months and see. Though it's really cool to see you got an invite. But if anything try to get a 1000+ views on this video (Being it's new)
i think that you should do it though, i mean you put alot of time in your work without getting payed. This is simply amazing and brilliant. Look at the originality from your maps, the only problom are the views, but you will get them. I am sure of that
Hmm. I've been invited to try to make money on my videos by Youtube. I'm not sure. I dislike ads and don't really want to put them on my videos. Then again, I still don't have a job. However, I don't get millions of views so I doubt I'd reach whatever payout limit is required. Ugh. What do you think?
@Entrophoria It's stuff from a VALVe game, meaning your making money off of their games. I'm not sure how it works, but it may seem really suspicious. Then again, I know absolutely nothing how legal stuff work, so don't listen to me. :P
@NibblerFox I think I have to own all of the content in the video (read it somewhere [probably obvious location], but lost link). Perhaps I'll send Valve an email asking if this is okay. After all, they made almost everything I use to put the levels together.
@Entrophoria Well, I used Valve's "People" page to send a quick email to Gabe. Whether it works or not has yet to be seen. After all, it is the weekend and he probably gets bombarded with email anyways.
@Entrophoria It's sad really. Your vids mostly stay under 1000 views despite their obvious great quality. I'm no expert, but you might only make like $10 a year.
Suggestion: In that empty room you should play the trollololol song when you enter it cuz you be stuck there with nothing else to do. :D

You cold use a trigger_playermovement to force the player to crouch automatically at the end for a smoother effect.

@Entrophoria No problem I was looking through all of the brush entities the other day for something useful and that one stuck.

I can just imagine Atlas bouncing off the sides...

@dragonscarz13 I was considering randomly tossing in personality sphere's and atlas' head, but I need to see if they'll trigger buttons or not.

You can use panel models instead of the moving metal walls. It looks ironic.

@Entrophoria Go for it. Maybe you will eventually get those millions of views you need.

@Entrophoria Scratch that, I think the rate is $2.50 per 1000 views.
