I may have one, the amperage rating on the back is 12.1A, the Falcon was 14.2A. It was manufactured October 9, 2008.

Yup, the new 360 bundles with Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda are defintely Jasper machines.

I have to agree; we are now going to october and still not one jasper system. it dosent even seem like the lot numbers are even close yet. the highest production date ive seen it 7-01-08.

I have an announcement. The xbox 360 jasper is out now go and get it but make sure the manufacture date is 08-08-08. The xbox is way cooler than the falcon and lighter. Make sure it says " By team FDOU".

just get a falcon, the place im gona get my one (GAME) allows you to return it to the shop and exchange it for another for 1 year, so when the jasper comes out ill probably do a marathon (which you should be able to do on consoles in this day and age) possibly resulting in a red ring and ill change it for a jasper. if it doesn't break then its all good, no need for a jasper.

No, they are a lot more reliable, 360s have come a long way. Plus all consoles come with the 3 year RROD warranty. Lets say the console does happen to RROD a year later from now, the replacement would be a Jasper as they will be the only thing being produced. Jasper drops the RROD rate to 2% which is the normal failure rate for any electronic device.

Ask them to look at the box. A sticker on the box should say the wattage and lot number. You may also be able to see the build date through the little window on the box. The build dates and lot number to look for has not been released yet.

so what your saying is that 360's are going are going to have a jasper insted of a falcon in december. isn't the jasper going to have 145 to 150 watts because that is what microsoft is saying.

The watts will indeed be lower, but even so... a Jasper could run on a Falcons 175w power supply. As the 360 only uses the power it requires and nothing more. This was proven with the Falcons, the first confirmed Falcons came with a 203w power supply.

Its all good, I picked up a 60GB too on Sept 5th. Yeah no Jasper but its still an updated version of the Falcon. Heck my old 360 (Zephyr) is still chuggin along without a problem.

Ns work on the vid. Yeah the jasper might be mixed with the Falcons, but most storew will out untill the Falcons are gone, so I wouldnt your breath if you expect to get a Jasper 360 anytime this month.
