  • What color blue is that?

  • Love the car got an 80 model im building now.

  • Kicking Harold - Gasoline This is the theme song for OverHaulin

  • whats the name of the song in the video?

    i got a 1978 malibu too. its black :)

  • WHO CARES? ITS STILL A KICK ASS MALIBU!

  • im sorry i know malibu's like the back of my hand and that is NOT a 78 the 78 rear lights are slanted and the front grill is not like that too thats a 1981 an up malibu

  • @JOsEGoMeZ211 Sorry, but it is a 1978. We changed the grille and taillight to those from an '81 as we like the look of those better. So yes, it is a 1978!

  • @mrmaliblu dont you like when people try to tell you what your car is, like whats with these people fuckin tards any way, nice car man

  • very very nice vid....well put together, and the pics r great n clear!! im doing the frame off on my buick regal and i got some ideas...informal!

  • fucking SEXY.

i have one of these and they are just great cars.

  • nice car, anyone knows the name of the song?

  • man all that woork and no one showed ya how to shim a starter i seen your other vids...

    nice car though

  • Actually in that other video, the starter was grinding because the knurls on the bolts were too small, so it shifted away.

  • Im not exactlty sure unless it was just certain model's chevy made but looking at the tail lights it looks more like a 79 the 78 i had the side's of the tail lights were slanted but then again it was a malibu classic so maybe the classic's got the slanted side's of the tail's *shrugs*

  • The car is actually a 1978, but we installed an '81 grille and taillights.

  • very nice car man(Y) what is the songname??

  • Very very nice. Massive respect for anyone willing to do that kind of work.

  • Very nice..kicks ass....wish i could do one

  • ihave seen this video about 100 times. never get sick of it. big block, notched frame, 9" what more could you ask for.... good luck with the project..

  • Very nice, eager to see the finished beast.

  • greetings from Argentina. Go Chevy Malibu!

good car, nice very nice. good work friend!

  • nice job so far... a clean restoration

  • you'd be surprised where you can find a rust free frame, i live up in alberta and i thought that almost all the frames up here had rusted out.. but i found a 1982 malibu classic wagon that im going to restore over the winter and i has zero rust

  • i still love this car.

  • Nice job on the restoration. I do gotta ask though--did you buy a new frame for your '78, or did you redo the one you had? I'm doing up my old '78, and I am in dire need of a rust-free frame (something you don't find in Wisconsin).

  • Check junk yards in Cali & southwestern states. I bought 1 outa L.A. for $100 bucks off of ebay. Good luck......
