New Turtle Tank

Hey guys, this is an old video. I don't even have this tank set up anymore. The turtle have all been released. I never had a problem with any of them being agressive towards each other. I did hava a filter but just not in this video because it was just set up. The tank was always veru clean and looked amazing. The water looked bad in this video because fresh sand and no filter.

dude you have alot of problems with this tank.... Snappers are very aggressive towards other turtles even if they are babies.. it only takes one time to learn... next..take that wood out! wood puts out harmful chemicals in the water and makes it smoggy!! next... ALOT MORE WATER! turtles have to excersice by swimming! next.... softshells are very very very aggressive towards other aggressive turtles and i would no all of this informations because of experience with me having over 5 turtle tanks(:

The tank is not dirty.. The wood gives off tannins which make the water a tea color

for the softshell sand is too big. u gotta use smaller gravel in order to let it burrow into it.

can you keep snappers with other turtles i have mine with 3 RES will they be ok

@sportsgeek28 They will be fine when they are babys but as they getr older they need to be seperated. Sometimes the snapper will get aggressive even as a baby too.

@sportsgeek28 snappers tend to bite other turtles tails off, even as babies, monitor them closely!

sir you need to get sand for the softshell so they can submerge themselves in it take the snapper out

make a separate tank for the snapper and a separate tank for the map softshell and get a damn filter!

@BLACKOPS30001 Hey buddy before you freak out and throw a fit, this was on the first day the tank was set up. Now there is a filter and proper lighting so you can just calm down and take a chill pill.

@naturekid6590 Haha I know how these people think. "If I don't see it in the video then that must mean you don't have it!" I get comments pretty much like that all the time, when people act like they know what's best for YOUR turtle and YOUR tank. It does get annoying.

Dude i think you got to separate them cuz both the snapping and the soft shells are aggresive and will kill your other turtles and eachother

u need a filter it will help so u donthave to clean it and the smelll will b better and with the brownish coloring from the wood

@MILLIEWOW1 I have a filter in there now but that was the first day that i had the 40 gal set up and i didnt put in the filter yet.

Thats awesome, ive always wanted to do a big turtle tank like somthin 40 to 70 gallons i think it would be fun to set up.
