  • i just clicked the video, cus the thumblail looked weird

  • well if you just remove the drf and leave the stock muffler and tail pipe then yes then they can delete ur warranty the reason is the black suit that accumliates in the pipe so if u just buy a whole straight pipe system and every time you take your truck in service you just put the stock exhaust back they wont even know and wont void your warranty just you have to deal with the hastle with the problem of keep switching the exhaust system

  • yes the drf is fricken heavy i helped my friend straight pipe his truck and forgot to take out his end so i had to hold it up for 2 minutes yes defiently use a jack to lower it dont tackle it with ur body under it

  • This is there old product. dpf-r sells a way easier to install product know.

  • can you get a road sticker when you remove the dpf?

also does it kill the dealership warrenty?

  • F--k all the emissions devices, and all you eco freaks out there. I just gained almost 5mpg on my 6.7 Dodge, so I use less fuel, and save at the pumps.

  • what do you think your parents were breathing while you were being made ???

  • Can you image how bad the air quality would be if the laws didn't force manufacturers to develop anti smog devices. If all of the smog devices were never invented starting in the 1960's to now that would be 50 years of smog and we wouldn't be able to breath. We would probably have lead, mercury, and other toxicants 100s of times higher than we have now. It would also void a warranty and in some states be illegal. The vehicle still has to pass emissions test during inspection.

  • @kingmike40 hey there twinkle tits. diesels are not smogged unless you live in one of the 3 states that are starting to mandate it.

  • @PHIXTup Before you shoot your mouth off you might want to re-research your research. You did do research before you called me twinkle tits and got all big head didn't you. Read the fine print.

"All DPF Delete tuning products are STRICTLY FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. According to the EPA Clean Air Act, they are illegal for use on any Federal, State, or Local public highways and illegal use is punishable by the penalties enacted by the mentioned laws. " Found on a website that sells the delete kits.

  • @kingmike40 good detective work sizzle nuts. no smogging means no enforcement. yeah its a law, but whos going to stop me? HAHAHAHAHAHA (evil laugh)

  • @kingmike40 i guess im glad im in texas mines staight piped pouring out the smoke and no one cares well they do i get alot of thumb ups haha

  • @kingmike40 certain emissions standards and devices were great to a point, but then like everything else, they got to much power and went overboard...

FUCK TIER 2/ EURO 3 STANDARDS!!! emissions standards for my push mower??? REALLY???!!!

also, another thing you can do to be extra sneaky... and cheaper, is take off the DPF, knock the guts out with a really big pipe, and re-install...this also takes care of any issue one may run into with a visual inspection... DONZO!

  • @kingmike40

    not where I live :D

  • screw diesel catalytic converters... emission restraints are ruining the fuel economy and power that diesels are made for.

  • +5 more MPG's without stupid DPF !!

  • emissions standards are gay

  • i have been reading the forums and this kit is absolutely the worst one you can buy. if your looking for huge power go with spartan. if you want mileage and some power gains go with sct.

  • using water in a can. needa use some better stuff then tht

  • which delete kit is this?

  • how do i get it? and how much did you pay for your's?

  • what u mean i dont get out much if anything is after market like the muffler it will void the warrenty and plus since diesals are gunna get smoged eather next year or 2012 everyone has to keep there catsi know this because we have nothing but trucks were i live and everyone has to take off there chips when they go in for a fix on there trucks

  • yes it will void the warrenty so when u go in for getting ur tranny change cause the chip fuck up the trans u need to replace ur aftermarket and put back on ur stock

  • BWHAHAHAHAHA

You don't get out much do you?

  • well the stocks ones have been holding up to 600 rwhp. im not saying there gonna go forever but they will definately stand up to some of the abuse

  • does it void warranty

  • does it affect the warranty, i want to do this but just dont wanna lose my warranty

  • depends on your dealer.

  • I've heard it will void the warrenty, but idk for sure

  • for sure it will void warranty.

  • voided warranty for sure!

  • where can i get these parts

  • You can get these parts off the net. You need to have a tuner such as an sct live wire to fool the computer on the truck. Just did it on my 08 and made the world of difference. sounds like a diesel should and smokes like it should to

  • id never trust him to do an oil change, b/c the "

power steering reservoir" he pointed at is the engine oil fill...

  • hummmm i thought it was illegal to take that off fed emissions man the epa can use this video against the dealer he says his name and everything give you the phone number to the place everything epa sees this somepeople are looking at some good fines and jail time you couldnt do this in chicago IL state police would get you lock me up for driving it and go after the person that did it

  • it is, this is a bad thing for a company to be advertising as a fleet service....

  • you are just hanging your self out to dry and besides its illegal for anyone to take them (even the owner of the vehicle) off federal offence unless the vehicle is going to be used for offroad use only and when you would get caught is when you hit someone and the state police responds and DOT's you

  • EXACTLY! fucking dumb asses i tell ya....

  • how much time and effort would they have to put into checking to see if you still had your DPF? What are they going to pull you over? The cops don't know what they're looking for as far as year, and what we can and cannot have on our trucks as far as exhaust. don't be scuurrddd. Just don't roll coal if there's fuzz around.

  • depends on the cop IDOT state trooper may care. In IL they can pull you over for doing 56 mph any vehicle/truck over 4 tons speed limit is 55 on highway and then find anything else wrong

and plus IL has a safety sticker program so if you have D plates or better you have to have a sticker and since your truck is a 08 it should have a DPF and won't give you a sticker saying it failed and why and i think they have to send something to state maybe dont really know I'll ask when i get sticker

  • and as far as the delete pipe goes the company selling it has it marked for OFFROAD USE ONLY covers their butt and this dealer installing this they can have person sign a waiver saying its for OFF ROAD USE ONLY covers their butt too and its made as a test pipe perfectly legal FOR OFFROAD USE ONLY i did a little research ask a ford certified diesel mechanic just remember to change that back to dpf if you take in for service warranty will be voided

  • Comment removed

  • Are you 12 cause i wasn't calling you names? All I was doing was making a point that if you take this off your breaking the law and state troopers in IL that are IDOT approved will check. I pulled into a toll booth on I-88 state trooper camt to my window asked me what year my truck was and looked to see if the cat was still there and took stuck a clear hose in the fuel tank for offroad fuel so why would you call me a IDIOT when they just looked at my truck to see if it had it answer that for me

  • because im retarded and didnt spend the time to read youre last post.

  • IDOT is IL dept of transportation you thought i was calling you idiot no no I'd never call anyone names unless i know you! so anyways jsut be careful where you live they will start it soon. I think its because IL is broke now and trying to get money anyway they can since we got a new gov the hard way lol

  • where can i get these modules/sensors? i can find everything but those

  • You guys wont believe this but ATS pretty much blew the whistle to the EPA about us using DPF delete kits and giving them information on what companies are selling them and telling them we are using them on the street. What a bunch of rat bastards! Its on diesel power mag . com, under the oilwell forum.

  • Yeah, this is a real bummer- its all over the diesel forums as well.

  • I wish I could do that to my CRD jeep grand cherokee!
