I think taking time to go over the check list after you just did it is a little bit much, just land the plane!! And don't think about all that fuel you just put in!

@MrHondo11 Check lists are there for a reason. Every GOOD pilot uses them, especially in an emergency. Typical comment coming from an armchair flight sim jockey.

@Storm33511 To add to what you are saying... GREAT pilots use checklists as just that and NOT DO-lists. Great pilots memorize the checklists and perform a logical and efficient flow through the steps first, then pull out the checklist and "check off" everything they had to do. Rather than Master... off, Mixtures... Full rich, etc. For example I have my entire Before Takeoff steps done before I get to the end of the runway so when I get there i can go through the list check, check, check.
