  • I own the Skin Refined Zone stuff and I find that when I use a fountadion brush afterwars it streaks and rubs off a lot. am I doing something wrong?

  • very beautiful!!! you're one of the best! love your tutorials!!=))

  • do they sell mac in the uk?? and where? xx

  • Nic I have oily skin and heard (Gossmakeupartist) say not to moisturise. He advises just a spray of Fix Plus instead. I have to admit that not moisturising really works for me. I am hardly ever shiny now.

  • @0RainbowAngel0 Even if you have oily skin, you still need to moisturize because you need something to even out the PH balance in your skin. Don't think that just because you're skin is oily that it's hydrated because that's the exact opposite. You need to find a moisturizer that's oil free so your skin can get the hydration it needs as well as protect your skin from oil breakouts and UVA/UVB rays. Plus, you can get premature wrinkles if you don't moisturize!

  • @0RainbowAngel0 well you are moisturizing, as Fix + moisturizes. and ive read on many make up boards that Fix + makes peoples skin get very shiny..

  • You put that eyeliner on in a way I would not think of but it turned out well.

  • Nic are u really nc35??? cuz i m nc35 and i feel my skin is way darker than urs. :)

  • Does Select Coverup Concealer photograph as badly as the Studio Finish Concealer? I get the reverse Panda look with Studio Finish, but I have massive dark circles that need to be covered :(

  • I've had that happen before but it hasn't happened with the studio finish! Make sure you set it with powder (and sometimes i spray some fix+ on a 224 and set it with that as well and it stays ALL day!!)

    I hope that helps :)

  • Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. They pick appropriate make up for the looks they do....

  • I love the tattoo behind your ear

  • omg i was hooked after the 1st minute of this video!

Great product recommendations, I plan on going out tomorrow and purchasing a few!

  • Does MAC's Studio Fix Fluid photograph well? I'm going to take pictures and I want my makeup to look good :) HELP!

  • If you get the right shade, it should. I recommend Mary Kay foundation and powder for close-up kind of things. It works miracles. Their powder is my favorite. :)

  • This is like my favorite video ever! As of right now, there are 17,825 views and I think have of those views are mine. Haha :)

  • I have a very oily skin and I have started using Boots No7 Shine free make up base. It's excellent, you wear it over your moisturizer and put it on 5 mins before your foundation, it should keep you shine free for about 6 hours.

  • I like ur tattoo, the star behind ur ear

  • i like your star tatoo

  • sounds like you have combination skin. try a mattifier gel in your t-zone where you get oily. or carry a blot powder with you. make sure your foundation has a matte finish

  • okay thank you! ill give it a try

  • Hi, I have a question.

My skin is dry and at times gets patchy, then when i apply makeup, my skin gets shiny and oily looking along the forehead and nose, is there any suggestion?

  • even if i apply a matte powder, it still tends to get oily/shiny.

  • Hey,

I'm not pixiwoo, sorry, but I know a trick

You can put a tissue on your face and spray some water over it.

It just matts your skin!! Try it ;P

  • I've tried the tissue trick & it does work but I can't really do that in a middle of a class =/ because my face usually gets shiny while i'm in the middle of my class & i'm taking a quick look at the mirror in my bag for any smudges .

  • have you tried keeping those little oil blotting sheets?? they dont smudge your face makeup and they soak up all the oil quick and easy

  • make sure youre moisturizing. try a different type of makeup maybe

  • i do moisturize, i use an oil-free moisturizer with SPF 30, well is there any suggestion on what type of makeup I should use?

  • is the skin refine zone like a make-up base??

    <3

  • Excellent video,i love ur accent,im from California,,,keep doing ur thing girl..peace and blessings

  • what would you recommend as a foundation for oily skin other than the studio fix fluid? it makes me breakout x

  • wow, you wear NC35 foundation? i'm NC35 and my skin is a lot darker than yours. interesting! :)

  • This looks just like my everyday look for work!! Very sweet, elegant and nice

  • is the skin refine zone a substitute for a primer and how is the setting powder that came out together with it,worth getting?

  • is it just me or is oil contol lotion smelling really bad?

  • Actually, the worse it smells - the better. Most moisturizing lotions and facial/cleanser creams smell incredibly nice because of the alcohol content. Don't be fooled, go for the ones with a neutral smell - the results are also better.

  • I love this look so much.

    And I am a guy.

Maybe I will try it on myself and modify it.

  • Classy. :3

  • Hey! Great video!! Can i just say you remind me soo much of saffia who was in big brother! I was watching it the other night and I knew she looked like someone!!xx

  • I think I like the look for dry skin better . . . this look seems a little more ... blah .. not as shimmery : ) still a pretty look though

  • Wow I love this natural look! Gorgeous!

    *Rocksterize* tutorials

  • You are awesome! I love all your videos :-)

  • oh my gosh i never noticed your star tattoo before! i was thinking about getting a tattoo simialr to that. Did it hurt a lot? great tutorial by the way!!!

  • yes!!!! when i get married im flying this girls to the us for sure =)

  • thats exactly were i have pores i wna try that now that product looks great

  • could you make a review on M.A.C. foundations you seem to know more as you explain with great detail

  • Beautiful!! What kind of pencil are you using for your brows?I usually just use a shadow but im wanting more definition.

  • clogged pores arent caused by dirt

  • We are talking to the masses here so we try to keep it as simple as possible.

Dead skin cells, free radicals, dirt, oil, sweat....come on.

There is always a smart arse!

  • I am not trying to be a smart ass

  • Besides what she said was why they minimized the look of pores. Which is great, since lots of people don't have a clue why those type of products cause that effect.

  • thank you sooooooooo much!!!! i have oily skin and i can't wait to try the blot powder! you girls are beautiful and amazing!!!

  • what would you do nic to bump it up???xxx

  • thanks for this great vid Nic I have oily skin! It was also like a mini visit to a MAC counter too with all the great advice you gave! ::) thanks

  • I have the studio finish concealer and find it quite oily.

  • please do bridal for dry skin....please!

  • she has already said she would

  • if ur darker... medium skin tone, would you use mulch or espresso instead of brule?

    amazin vid btw! :)

    x

  • if you are medium skin tone espresso is veryyy drak, you can still use brule or soft brown would be good

  • thankss =)

  • i always think you already have foundation on because your skin is so amazingly gorgeous. and then you put lotion on and i realize that its just your bare skin being fabulous. so envious.

  • Im the same as PrincessKLS with oily hair and T zone on the face aswell as dry areas. What would be best for that? x

  • I love your makeup , I hope one day that I can do my makeup like you do. I live ina small town and Merle Norman is the only place to get really good makeup. I was wondering what you think of Merle Norman's makeup line.

  • What if you have combination skin? I have mostly oily skin and hair but parts of it is dry. Like on my face, my cheeks are dry and I'm super sensitive.

  • this video is the most like my evening makeup including all the products you used, accept I don't use a brow highlighter because I am over 30 and after I am done I take a cotton swab soaked in visine and dab it into the corners of my eyes.

  • Thank you very much!!!! That is a very nice bridal look!!!! Greetings from Spain!!!!!!!!! Adiós!!!!

  • you know when you said that thing about the pallettes it was a little misleading you have said something like you buy the pots or buy an empty quad and buy the PANS or you can buy the 12 empty pallette and again buy the PANS becuase if you say it like you did people will think you can buy the pallette with the colors already in it! :)

  • You can buy quads that are already filled with pans. Spiced Chocolate Quad is just one example.

  • i like you to do the bridal look for dry skin please honey ,thanks

  • Can you buy MAC eyeshadow quads at MAC ? with the eye shadows already inside?

  • Love your eyebrows! ^_^

  • your videos are amazing!

how do you book a makeover? by 'redeemable on products'' do you mean that i would get the 25 quid back in mac products?

  • what is the 3rd and 4th eyeshadows you used?

  • I think the "warm brown" may be Cork.

  • the first soft brown was " wedge", it's very close to cork though. the warm one is "embark" I think, it's very reddish

  • not that i am ever getting married but this was very helpful i could do this for any more reserved formal event!

  • If I ever get married, I be natural on the beach or in a cave or in some mud with my bikin having a good wrestle with some bitches later! ;-)

  • Did you get engaged?? If so, congrats :)!! Noticed a ring ;)

  • wow, the way you draw your brows -- amazing!!!!

really pretty, i would want to do this everyday. haha. thanks for sharing.

  • i like to use MAC Matte as a primer - it is great at controlling my oilies! :)

  • for pro discount u need 2 b a mac up artist professionally or work for mac

  • I luv that you take the time to explain why you are using a product and what it will do...thank you!

  • ANYBODY PLZ HELP~

I have never been to mac pro store b4 and i dont know whether i need to get a card or something in order to purchase those palette, or I can just but it normally?

  • you can buy it.. you just wont get a "pro" discount

  • thx u for answer my question ^^

Do you know how to get a pro discount?

  • To buy from the store you need a MAC Pro card, but you can still order MAC Pro products by phone without the card by calling the number on the website
