for anyone wondering how to do this. it is not easy. You have to learn terminal and you will spend many hours learning how to do this. I have also got a current firefox with flash to work. Learn from awkward tv, atv hacks, and then trial and error. Good luck.

@pavao123 if you didn't see this video is 2 years old... atv flash has a current version that also will work with a touch or iphone.

@njdnjdnjd I sure know about it, I've got the app on my iphone. That does not change the fact that the control is a crap thing, and still there's no Safari for it.

Just to be clear, this plug-in is in no way associated with Apple. It is made by Brandon Holland, and is not sold for money. It will only work on your ATV if you hack your apple TV. Hacking your ATV will immediately void your warranty. You also risk bricking your ATV if you don't know what you are doing.

Awesome hack, but I'll rather use my Wii for web browsing in my TV than my Apple TV.
Even if the picture is way better with the Apple TV, the Wiimote is better and faster than the remote.

hey i agree, but for those of us who don't have a wii, this is awesome. There are also hacks out there that allow a Wii remote to work with the ATV, which would be awesome. I haven't got that to work yet but i am working on that, and bluetooth.
