Okay first of all, this is Alex Pardee's work, not The Used. The Used does not own Chadam, Alex Pardee does. This Series has nothing to do with The Used. Besides, Gerard Way does all of his album covers. If Gerard Way wanted to do a series of the characters from the Black Parade or Three Cheers then he could, but you would think he'd be too focused on his music career and his wife. Alex Pardee is an artist and he has the time to create this kind of stuff. It's his job. Gerard Way is a musician.

according to the latest update from Pardee its gonna get an online release first, and yeah cartoon network do host adult swim, but no its shows are not as dark as this, they tend to be black tongue-in-cheek comedies, but they do not have the level of menace that this show appears to.

If you read the stories, you can see some song lyrics referenced. Like "Paralyzed" & "A Box Full of Sharp Objects" just to name a few.
