primate research saved my life. im 100% for testing on baboons, macaques and chimps. i dont believe on testing on dogs cats and any other non primate animal. i feel that testing on non primates is pointless when it comes to human medications. also i truly believe that if one human life is saved by primate experiments than its well worth it even if the ratio is a million to one

From a moral perspective, animal experiments are abhorrent. However, it is even more important to focus on the human cost of animal tests. Big pharma would love nothing more than to spread the idea that it is a choice between a human and an animal, it is not. These tests are unscientific, they have stalled progress, many have died from tested drugs.
