This was serious thrash with the death ultra violence thrown in.@cheapy2006 were you around when this came out?I was and there was nothing close except maybe Rigor Mortis or Slayer for pure raw relentless ferocity.I bought destroy erase improve when Meshuggah first sprouted and I can say they are not on this level even after all these year's although I truly enjoy Meshuggah they are kitten's next to Dark Angel.Maybe Celtic Frost's album into the pandemonium can compare.

Ron Reinhart was just a replacement, not much more. I realy thought after the Don Doty era, they tried to get "WAY" too technical with there music. It's like thy say "keep it simple." Plus the other changes in the line-up didn't help the situation either, like Ericson etc.
