Nice to see the martial arts are catching on in China. I wonder what they would have thought, thousands of years ago when they were training everybody in swordsmanship, if you said it would come to this. They'd probably ask "what are these movie things you mentioned" Ha ha. Lightsaber is neat and all, but the lamest weapon of all is the blaster. A regular rifle would out-shoot any blaster any day of the week. For the look, for the concept, they should do a LOT of damage, Take out a tank or more.

Perhaps, but the Jedi were based off of the samurai, and we all know that the Japanese samurai repeatedly kicked Chinese ass in all sword fighting styles. It had a lot to do with the fact that the Japanese had better swords due to their steel, but also to do with the fact that they didn't waste time and energy dancing around lol.Plus, I can't help but feel putting something like Wushu with some of the Jedi would severely take down their macho'ness. This was cool though.

@AyanaLinval Japanese invasions never went up to the chinese mainland, or even get through the Korean peninsula for that matter before they adapted arquebus. 1. Korean horn bows with ceramic coated strings/steel crossbows and steel frame arrows were just too much for them.

2. Stanard issue for both chinese and korean military was either a pole arm or a two handed battle scythe. Kind of like the one that I use on my Chun Qiu Da Dao video. When Japanese standard issue was a sword and a spear

@AyanaLinval And to be completely honest with you, a lot of guys in Wushu don't really even bother with swords. Unless you're a girl. Wushu swords are not meant to be a slashing weapon where you are smashing your blade into your opponents. It's designed to cut or pierce with the very tip. It's a very subtle weapon that requires a lot of finesse. Girls or old people usually pick up jians, guys usually pick up Daos or Da Daos or focus on their fist frames.
