@chitrakuut Well, metabolic typing and its concept is fairly young, so no one can know for sure yet how many people would be at a psychological or physical disadvantage if they were forced to rely solely on beans or tofu, but I myself know that if I do bodybuilding exercises & don't get animal protein a few times a week, then I eventually start to suffer physically & psychologically (not feeling full, binge eating, craving junk food, etc).

Some cultures need more animal protein & fat than others (like the Eskimo), and some individuals' stomachs are just not going to agree with beans (or bean curd / tofu). It is called Metabolic Typing or Nutritional Typing; research it. If you're happy & healthy with only vegetables, then that doesn't mean that the whole world is guaranteed to be the same.
