a 20 gauge doesnt necessarily shoot straiter...but is more accurate since the bullet is smaller in diameter, just like how a 22 is more accurate than a 20 gauge. and for you who says this is cruel...why dont ya step in front of the deer next time and save it? (:

i usually learn a thing or two while reading these comments. but the ones for this vid made me a little stupider i think. one guage doesn't shoot straighter than another. DUH!! and killing a deer is part of life, there is no destruction. it's a fifteen thousand year old cycle that works very well for both humans and deer. if you don't know how to kill, you don't know how to live. look around you. they are the same thing.

@beagler45 slug barrel or bird barrel makes no diference. hes shooting a 20 ga. i shot my first deer with a 20 ga at about 80 yards i shoot a 12 with a slug barrel now but still the 20 ga will shoot more straight then a 12 ga with a slug barrel lots of the time

a rifled slug barrel will shoot the slug straighter and farther than just a plain old birg barrel....im not sayin dont use a bird barrel iim just makes more sense to use a slug barrel to shoot a slug...

@beagler45 rifled slug barrel is a waste of money spend 15-20 bucks per box of 5. i got a smooth bore barrel shoots just as straight as a rifled. and i dont use a 20 ga anymore my 12 has a slug barrel on it. but im saying that a 20 ga will shoot straighter than a 12 ga even if the 12 has a rifled barrel

shells do cost a lil mor i pay 9.50 for slugs and i do shoot a 20 guage....and a 12 shoots just as streight my dad concitstantly punches out bullseyes at 50 yards with a 12 with no rifled barrel....

5:37 though on the video the muzzle points directly at the camera... I assume a person is holding the camera so just a heads up about safety. I also assume your shotgun was loaded as you were told to reload it once you got down from your stand which was a smart thing to do incase you spook another or this one gets up and tries to run again.
