how do u use this auto-chop feature? i cant seem to find it.

In the Pad View (Sample Mode) use Select and how many Pads you wanna use for this Sample. Then press Chop and choose the Sample you want to Chop. Press Load and the Sample is Auto-Chopped on all the selected Pads in Single Parts :o)

local IPs mean nothing. everybody's local IP shows up with 192.168.*.***, where the stars are replaced with a number sequence that's unique to the network you're in.

I gotta say I am long time mpc user and got this when it first came out and all i can say is props to those that can actually make good beats on it. it just doesn't work well for me. always feels like it's timing is goofy.

I was a little drunk last night and ended up buying a 16 gig iTouch (2nd gen) for 200 online. Not bad seeing as how I could only find it for 300 most other places. When I get it the first thing im doing is getting the beatmaker and beatpack. Yeeeeeaahhhh!

How do I put a beat that I made onto my computer?

You have to open up Beatpack on your computer, go to your home page on Beatmaker, put in your IP address and go to upload and upload it wifi. It should be wherever you put your kits but defaultly on your desktop.

What I want to know is when you save the beat and open the file up in a music sequencer like say acid pro will it be the whole beat itself or will every track individually will load up with it so that you can edit it to your liking ?

I want to know that as well...I would think that it will be the whole beat as a one-shot. But who knows...I never thought making beats on an iPod or iPhone could be possible...let alone it be as precise as this! X)

Yes it takes wav files and I sold that whack ass MPC500 with only 2GB ram for the 32GB itouch and you can record the tracks individually to wav or the whole song. I must've made about 70 beats on here already but I am still uploading sounds on here and I only have 3GB of sounds stored. I hear some good beats on here on youtube but I want people to hear my shit and see how good Beatmaker is I will upload a video soon. I transfer it all to Acid Pro 6 to mix down.

i just figured this out you need to have beat maker installed or backed up on i tunes it dosent work if its just on your phone you need to have on both phone and computer

Can somebody help me. I have entered my IP address many times and every time I try to share btw. BeatPack and Beatmaker I keep getting a Timed Out or No Network Connection sign. I even tried going to a coffee house with free wi-fi cause I thought it was a problem with my own connection in my house. As of right now I can't upload any sounds.

type that 'dnssd.dll' into your search window on your computer, then drag that file to the folder that BeatPack is in. It should work then.

you can test the sample by pressing the number in edit mode.  you don't need to exit edit mode then press the pad.
