@imhood37 It's not scripted like the WWE but I do think its rigged. I don;t think the players are involved in it but one call at a critical moment is enough to change a game. I think the refs and Stern try and help the team to make more money and that team can change every night.

The NBA is definitely rigged but I don't think it's a guaranteed outcome like wrestling is. I think Stern tells the refs which team to call the most fouls on and which players to go easy on. But in a game the players on both team are trying hard to win the game.

the nba is not rigged u idiots. it's live competition. a small case can be made with that donahugh incident but a situation like that can only arise if the game is that close, otherwise for the most part the results come from guys competing. same with all other sports that have team companies based in many states. wwf and their wrestlers for instance is just one main affiliation and the shows are premeditated entertainment, unlike the nba where u can only practice and train FOR upcoming games.

Of course the NBA is rigged. The NBA really wants to market players like Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Just look at all the calls these guys get and spend way too much time at the free throw line, it's crazy.

David Stern (NBA Commish) has changed the way the officials can officiate the game. And last season we saw a ton more technical fouls given to players to complain about bad calls going against them, so it's like a cover up.
