  • @sail1948..Sigh..Another idiot that clearly doesnt know what the fuck they are talking about..If you look on the walls of the Building it states it is not a public right of way..Its private land owned by corporate investors open to the public. My opinions are correct based on fact and research.Your opinion is wrong based on the fact that your a sheep that doesnt know what they are talking about following the fucking herd.Baaa...Whats that?Oh..another sheep has just tried to shit in my house..

  • @FoxpawsSilvertongue to make it even easier Ill type it like this..BULL RING IS OWNED BY A PRIVATE CONSORTIUM WHO OWN THE LAND.ITS PRVATE LAND.let me put it another way...IF I WAS TO COME IN YOUR HOUSE WITH A BILLBOARD AND SCREAM PAY YOUR TAX THEN SIT DOWN ON YOUR FLOOR MAKING MYSELF AT HOME WOULD YOU OR WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME TO LEAVE?Exactly...YOUR TRESSPASSING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND IF YOU DONTY LEAVE ITS CLASSED AS AGGRIVATED TRESSPASS.Did I miss any big words for you honey?

  • @Pulpedtoafiction31 Its not private land its corporate land. There is a difference.

  • @FoxpawsSilvertongue what kind of retarded reaction was that?Ooohhh? If you can read (Which I doubt very much) You will see my comments stated Bull Ring is owned by private investors who own that land that Bull Ring is Built on through a consortium. So weather they are shopping or not they can ask you to leave and if you dont its classed as Tresspass. If you continue to not leave the area it is then considered aggrivated Tresspass and you can be arrested.

  • Go on Topshop fuck the students bout time they pay

  • All that needs to be done is for any money made in the UK market to be taxed at the UK rates, is that so much to ask?

More is lost in corporate tax avoidance each year than is payed out on welfare payments in total!

  • i won't be going to topshop, burton or BHS again.. didn't like the cloths anyway so no bother.

  • Tory not tory jobsworth. And im not one of them. You ever met a Goverment that you liked?Me neither.,,,I detest both Labour for making this country a joke selling it out to the European Goverment behined the voters backs and the Torys for going back on most of there pledges since being in goverment.Notice I never said coalition because lets face it the minnows have no power since they have shown Britain they are irrelavent back peddling cowards kneeling to the Torys like second raters.

  • Looks like we have some tory lovers in these comments.

  • @CallummmLOL looks like we have some anarchist lovers in these comments

  • You were asked to leave private property (BullRing Shopping Centre) 3 times and didnt so under the Highways act 1980 security are well within there rights to eject you.You were asked 3 times which pretty much made it jump from Tresspass to aggrivated Tresspass.Bye Bye...

  • @Pulpedtoafiction31 Tresspass because they weren't spending money, but were engaging in a peaceful protest? Ooooh.

  • i'm going to buy even more clothes from topman now, just because i can

  • I spent some money in this shop yesterday as a sort of anti-protest protest. Everyone is entitled to arrange their affairs as they see fit. Nobody is claiming that Arcadia isn't paying corporation tax or that Mr Green is breaking the law. Find a less futile protest.

  • i understand why you people are protesting, I think that the real problem lies with the law. Transferring money to a foreign account tax free is a legal loop hole giving people the opportunity to evade tax. Was it 1.2 billion he transferred? that'd be a hell of a lot of tax, I think most people would do that in his situation which

  • Don’t get me wrong, it doesn't make it right considering the rising prices of education, lack of employment and the threat of a double dip recession. Protesting outside

  • Topshop or the rest of arcadia group is not the answer, but going to whitehall and lobbying the government is a more sensible option. Protesting outside arcadia shops over green’s tax evasion is not a sensible option causing shops to close so he can lose money, this is affecting workers and people wanting to christmas shop on a day off.

  • Are all you protester angry because Philip Green isn't paying is taxes or is it an excuse to bitch and moan about you university fees going up?

Cause that's what it looks like to me.

  • @Sara140384 .There should be free higher education in the whole of Britain because it would benefit the country in the long run.We could also very easily afford it if these uber rich tax dodging bastards coughed up only what they are supposed to.There's far too many of these tax dodgers(MP's included) who flount loop holes the government won't close up.Tesco for example takes a big slice of every £ spent yet isn't even based in this country,is this right ?

  • @sara140384

I can assure you, during this age of austerity, that HM Revenue & Customs will do anything they can to get this money.

  • @d3umbug You wrong, and seriously deluded if you think the likes of Philip Green is gonna be made to pay, HM Revenue & Customs will do fuck all.

This has happened once before a year or so ago and nothing was done then and nothing will happen now.

  • @Sara140384

Actually Sara, you are kind of going off topic.

I only stated that you were entirely wrong with your third point, that nothing would be achieved. I am not deluded at all. I do not believe that Ole' Phil will pay back any money at all!

However, you are totally deluded if you don't understand that if they say measures are being put in place, they are being put in place.

  • dependant*

  • poeple we could make a facebook group on this see how meny like we get. Then do somethink about it!!

  • yeah people thats what we want to see someone poeple accually doing something for this country while everbody just sits on there ass if i knew thjis was gunna happen i would of made it. but why is the gouverment letting this just blow this over seeing the uk is in so much debt what is our gouverment doing to stop this nothing there rather be in debt and struggle and raise tax's cause there down.

  • Cameron and Clegg have announced that they are changing our national emblem from the union jack to a condom. They feel this reflects more accurately the governments political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks and gives a sense of security while you're actually being screwed!!!

  • watch?v=xboWtdeGw7U

  • they should of chipped in and hired some of their own security, a few big burly door men lol . they wouldnt be dragging them out so easy.

  • well u cant blame the students,... everyone is just frustrated with the government and how it handles tax cheats like philip green... Am sure he must be a major donor to the torys, so just expect that they would never mention anything about his tax avoidance tactics... We all know how these so called "millionaires and billionaires" stash money.... tax havens of course... only the poor and middleclass pay tax... on everything... wat an unfair society we live in....!!!!!

  • @javicrane the law is a fickled and complex thing, if he is transfering money 'legally' to another account offshore then there's nothing they can do about it because they are tied by regulation

  • @23STEVO23 Exactly, bottom line his Mr Green hasn't broken any law.

  • boycots the shops, put stickers on the windows and smash the tax dodgers,

keep the fires of justice burning.

  • @cspeaky7 they will all be paying taxes when they start earning.

Why shoudl billionaires pay not tax?

    YOu are supporting that idea.

YOu are a fucking pieck of shit, a fucking piece of shit

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @SamsSpaghetti theres no-one more annoying than the government for our taxes !!!

  • was anyone aware of this tax dodger before they saw the video ??? well i wasn't so thanks for the upload opened my eyes , also agree with people saying stopping people shopping but reflecting on it probably only way of getting things across to the general public who are either blind , dont care , or unaware !!! just my personal thought !!

  • That's some great generalised misinformation you wrote there

  • BIGGEST BUNCH ON CUNTS EVER. IS THIS REALLY GUNNA ACHIEVE ANYTHING?! FUCKING CUNTS.

  • PAR

  • Oh dear how can u be so blind? Its because of big corporate scum like vodafone& topshop not paying their tax that we are now having to suffer these massive cuts the government are making. Think about it, if you owed even a fiver would the taxman let you off? NO, but companies like this are getting away with millions. you all need to actually think about whats happening here and stop being such slaves. question everything. at least these kids are fighting for something.

  • @stargirlpuffy if they are getting away with it, the inland revenue will catch up with them and deal with them. all companies are audited as a legal requirement. if they were tax evading millions of pounds like you say, they won't get away with it. although the students did what they did feel strongly about whats happened, it's not really their fight to fight.

  • @23STEVO23 They are EVADING TAX in a legal way by living abroad, using foreign banks, click accountants and the like . At least these students have the guts and maybe the time to protest! Also Green is an "ADVISOR" to the government on CUTS is this irony lost on you perhaps?

  • @BERRIHERT funnily enough no. at least these students have the guts to protest ? oh and i don't now ? if he's living abroad and the fund transfers are legal there's nothing you can do about it anyway which makes the protest even more pointless. that's life, get over it.

  • I need 90k for my course

  • knob'eds

  • Take the faggots round back and beat some sense into them

I'm ashamed I'm a student I'd never waste my time protesting like this

I'd love for one of these nerdy goons to try and stop me going into any shop lol that would be funny

  • @xMrBumBleBeex We didn't try to stop anyone entering any of the shops we protested in front of, that was not our intention.

  • It wasn't really fair, I was in there at the time. I was getting pushed everywhere and I only went in for presents. Just protest somewhere else, not outside Topshop.

  • @TheHeartGazer Sorry you got pushed around, but blame security/police, not us - if they had let us protest peacefully and as we wanted, you would not have experienced a problem.

We are protesting against the person who runs topshop, where would you have us go? Topshop is the right place to do it.

  • @brumprotestor No your the ones to blame since you were the ones causing a fuss on private property.

Imagine if you were sitting in your own house and all of a sudden a bunch of idiots with nothing better to do decide they are gonna sit in your driveway all day, what would you do?

You would tell them the get the fuck of your property and if that didn't work you would call the police and get them removed.

Same thing happened on Saturday, you all pushed your luck and got forced out as a result.

  • @Sara140384 Don't understand your point? Security/Police could have allowed us to protest in the windows, thus not causing any problems to innocent bystanders such as TheHeartGazer, but they didn't.

Your analogy is flawed, it's more like some people deciding to sit on your front wall.

Of course we were going to be removed, but they made the choices as to how that was done, and those choices caused problems for other people. They could have left us in the window till we left of our own accord

  • @brumprotestor Which part of logic don't you understand? I'm pretty sure if you got into any window display in any shop you would be asked to leave, protest or no protest. I can't actually understand how you expected to be left there until you got bored.

They asked you to leave nicely on a good few occasions but you all decided to ignore the warning even after they told you they were gonna use reasonable force to remove you, you have no one else but yourselves to blame.

  • @brumprotestor You could have left when they asked you too and still would have made your point, you would have still got on the news.

Honestly, no matter how you put it, if your sitting on my front wall or standing in my driveway it's still my property and without permission to stay there I would tell you to get lost or else.

  • Absolute losers. The only people who are against cheating taxes are those who cant do it.

    - A student.

  • @reiiiTube nope, I ran a business for 10 years and had ample opportunity to avoid taxes (both personal and corporate) but chose not to because I believe in a system of general taxation and centrally provided services.

  • If it was a bunch of muslims the police would have do NOTHING

  • @IFdot ?

  • @SamsSpaghetti

but if the protesters went to philip greens house they would be arrested wouldn't they? Im not sure though

  • Pay your taxes COCK SOCK

  • At last a worthwhile student protest, good job

  • Remember you end up paying the tax billionaire Philip Green avoids and getting poorer services, healthcare etc..

IF you care about your future you will boycotts his stores,TopShop Burtons, Miss Selfidge, Evans, Outfit Dorothy Perkins, Wallis.

And don't forget other dodgers, ie Vodaphone, HSBC, Lloyds, Barclays, Boots Cadburys etc.

More info on the UKuncut website.

  • I thought that here in the UK you can have your say - as in freedom of speech? Although got to admit, going into the stores and causing bother will not help.

  • security draggin ppl away was pretty much assault.

you lot need to learn the laws and start citing them

  • @AbattoirDream Ah, no, because they were on private property, and it's legal to use reasonable force to get them off.

  • Lol. What Tards. But To all the people saying 'kill all students!' shut the fuck up. We're not all like that. Just because your in a shitty job and because your a pathetic failure, don't hate on people wanting to actually make futures for thenselves..

  • lol there all goons!

  • Top shop clothes don't last long anyway, so steer clear from them from few years.

Pot factories in India with employees as young as 12 now tax evasion.

Philip Green is a cunt and he should have been arrested long time ago.

Instead we all working class suffer and he laughs his balls off now for sure!

  • These protesters are stupid c*nts. If I had a machine gun I would mow them down without blinking an eye!

  • if its tax avoidance isnt it the governments job to deal with it??

  • @megajayboy123

And when the Government fails to do its job, the people take action.

  • I buy all my clothes from topshop, get my phones from vodaphone. I am a student and if fees rise i accept that i will have to pay more. Half of these c0cks dont even know know what they are protesting about they are just looking for trouble. Disrupting people, vandalising and causing a rucus solves nothing.

  • @Rodderz123456789 vandalism? what vandalism? read other comments from me, you'll see we did not intend to disrupt shoppers or close the shop - topshop/bullring/police did that themselves.

Everyone on the protest knew full well why they were protesting. What a stupid thing to say.

  • @brumprotestor yadayadayada. I was refering to prostests in london the other week aswell. Most students are ignorant arseholes who will protest for the sake of it

  • @Rodderz123456789 students demoing over the past few months know exactly why they are out there. Uni students risk being thrown off their courses, school students risk temporary exclusion and 6th formers/FE students will lose their EMA for that week if they miss any classes as well as risking temporary exclusion.

Plus of course there is always the possibility of arrest or being injured by police.

The students are taking risks, and they are doing so for a reason, not just for the sake of it

  • Good effort guys and SOLIDARITY from Brighton!

  • Well done guys - im NOT shoppin there NE more.

  • Great job guys

  • i think its great Uncut have formed to protect the rights of uncircumcised men

  • whats wrong with you all, the are wright to say what they think

  • Students, those sponging gits, get a job and stop writing cheques for a bag of chips!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • That was Awesome!

  • anyone think burning all students is a good idea ?

  • fuckthepolice

  • DO NOT PROTEST

    JUST DONT USE THER SERVICES

  • i can tell by looking at these herberts they have never and probably will never pay any taxes =D

  • lmfao at 2:34

  • lovin the irony

  • Silly little students demanding people pay their taxes. Ya gotta love the irony. LOL!!!

  • @TheLagunaSunrise irony? what's the irony in that?

  • @nighrage Students expect handouts all the time, and not pay any taxes on those handouts.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Ummm...what has that got to do with anything? Zimbabwaens don't pay tax and they expect the government to pay for education and health. Thats just as relevant. Fucking idiot.

  • @rotwart It has everything to do with it. That's why no one can take students seriously. They're a laughing stock, just as you are. Fucking idiot. ;-)

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Oh dear. You misunderstand. Commenting on "students" in the context of this video is like commenting on "nurses" or "professionals" or fucking "bankers". This video has nothing to do with students you utterly moronic spunk bubble. Jesus Christ, are you really this stupid? Do people as thick as you really exist?

  • @rotwart It's students protesting you fucking stupid cunt.

I am not Jesus Christ. I can understand why you might think so, but no, I am not him.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise LOL, you are offically the stupidest fucking cunt in history. So I earn £92,000 a year as a policy advisor. My wife has been a triage nurse at St Thomas' hospital for the last 8 years. Niether of us has been a student for over a decade. Yet we are both in that video being thrown out of topshop for protesting. yet you say some ill-informed dribble about only students protesting. Please think before you open your mouth again, dolt.

  • @rotwart I NEVER said everyone it was a student-only protest, you utter fucking RETARD. THAT'S where you're going wrong. There is also no way you can prove you & your worthless cunt wife are in this video, so that is about as relevant as your entire existence.

You are the perfect example of why, sometimes, abortion is the right option. Your mother should have terminated. Shame on her, fucking pest.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise yeah really you fucking mug, concidering we'll pay a lifetime of tax and vat?? fuck off

  • @TheLagunaSunrise and how can you compare a multinational corperation to a single student!?!?!? fucking moronic!

  • @BattleRoyaleChampion I didn't compare a "multinational corporation" to a single student. The majority of these protesters are students. Ha! The protesters were protesting against PHILLIP GREEN, not Top Shop. Fucking illiterate MORON.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise PHILLIP GREEN IS TOPSHOP.HELLO IS ANYBODY FUCKING HOME??

  • @BattleRoyaleChampion PHILLIP GREEN IS ONE PERSON. THEY WERE PROTESTING HIM, BECAUSE OF HIS TAX-DODGING. Now fuck off you stupid cunt. You're lowering everyone else's IQ.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise PHILLIP GREENS FUNDS COME FROM A MULTINATIONAL CORPERATION YOU FUCKING DICK. why don't you read propperly and open your mind before you start SPOUTING ABSOLUTE SHIT.

HE DOESN'T EARN HIS MONEY IN THE SAME WAY A STUDENT DOES. HE HAS THE SUPPORT OF A MULTINATIONAL CORPERATION WHO IS CURRENTLY DEMENDANT ON HIM.

  • @BattleRoyaleChampion Where he earns his money from has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, YOU FUCKING WORTHLESS PILE OF SHIT. That's where you're going wrong. The company has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

You are the perfect example of why, sometimes, abortion is the right option. Your mother should have terminated. Shame on her, the fucking pest.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Wow you’re pretty fucking thick aren’t you. Nobody is saying it’s the responsibility of the company, it’s the fact that he has the SUPPORT of a wealthy corporate empire to finance him, whereas a student has fuck all. (continued)

  • @BattleRoyaleChampion "Wow you’re pretty fucking thick aren’t you."

You should have ended that sentence with a QUESTION MARK. Also, learn a little about irony. It looks great on you. lol

You keep going on about the fucking company and it's irrelevant. The students were protesting HIM, PHILLIP GREEN.

The students DO have a FAIR deal. They only have to start paying back their fees once they're in a job that pays enough.

Green has done nothing wrong. So cry me a fucking river you whining pussy.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Yet it is the students that are the ones being ridiculed for asking for a FAIR price on their education during this recovery, when there are fuckers like this Mr Greens milking the system who are already immensely wealthy! Do you have dyscalculia or are you just a straight up fucking tool.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise (CONTINUED)If you can't understand the difference between a millionaire earning what he does, and a student wanting a fair priced education, then well, good luck to your fucking scummy kids, prick.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise A mere technicality ... Green is a Legal fiddler abusing our tax laws.Just because the protesters are young does not merit your crude abuse. I'm old no doubt you can abuse me too!Their cause is just and you Sir ,are an obvious right wing capitalist boot licker !

  • @TheLagunaSunrise ...No we don't.

  • @Harmonyww You're fooling no one.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise It seems I'm only fooling you, and accidentally too. I'm a student and I think education is a privilege and not a right. I'm one of quite a few people I know that don't think students should get any hand-outs at all. I also disagree with hypocrisy and double standards, which is what these students were protesting against.

  • @Harmonyww You're in the extreme minority.

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Well, in my tutor group of about 25 people about 10 of them agree with me on that. I may be in a minority, but it's by no means extreme.

  • vodafones total tax dodges can pay for education 6 times over, if that's true then people letting philip green off the hook are retards

  • well done guys, we need more action like this! Solidarity form the South Bank University and from me!

  • yeah! thats assault .forcable removal by the idiot facesecurity persons is assault and should be followed up by everyone removd by force. the girl students can plead sexual harrassement.we notice the police didnt remove antone (wonder why0

  • @geisterbahn1 THEY WERE BEING A NUISANCE!! How else were security supposed to have dealt with them? Should they have let them stay at the doors of Topshop the whole day and get the whole center closed of? Cause that would have been fair on the poor people who work retail and would have to have been sent home without pay. They were asked to leave nicely to begin with and took no notice so they were removed, that's what security is paid for.

  • @geisterbahn1 no, they specifically warned them beforehand that they would be removed by reasonable force if they didn't co-operate, the students didn't move, so they were removed by force, and they are legally allowed to use force which is reasonable so go away troll !

  • Sad sad people with nothing better to do with their lives, if he managed to get away without paying taxes good on him, i know most people in the country would do it if they could!

  • @shrekster1982 Nothing better to do with their lives than protest tax evasion so we don't have to face public sector cuts in the public sector including education, nursing and the police force. Great point you have there. Idiot

  • @MentalMindFork Do you really think this will make a blind bit of difference, if so i think you are the idiot!

  • @shrekster1982 Including those students who were protesting about it on saturday,

    hypocrites.

  • BATTY BOYS.

  • isnt tax evasion illegal?

  • @rabbit1066 highly up to 10 years in prison

  • @rabbit1066 but this is tax avoidance, it's different.

  • @rabbit1066 not if your rich and or are a politician or some one who knows the system like v odphone. tthe government always targets the weakest for the most tax.as they are easyily intimidated into paying. capitalismis run by the mafia ! i,epoliticians...police ....and the rest of the nutters in uniforms

  • Don't any of these people have jobs/lectures to go to? It's like they *actually* believe they're making a difference. Incredible really. So naive.

  • @lisacs83 It was a Saturday you idiot

  • @MentalMindFork So what you trying to say is that you all work a 9-5 Monday/Friday job?

  • bit silly , name a place that doesnt evade tax from time to time not everyone wants to flush money down the toilet heh look at those linked to third world child labour , slaughter , funding terrorism ,gangs yet all this cos someone is just doing what everyone else does ,,petty or what

  • personally i think evading tax is prostesting , being a nusence isnt

  • so what were u protesting about tax dodging or the that you student are are going to pay more?

  • i can see why they are doing the protest and for what reason, but the protest will make no difference and will just give you a criminal record. so why bother ?

  • @23STEVO23 Actually none of the protestors involved were arrested, hence no criminal record. And let's be happy that protestors throughout the ages haven't had the same mentality as you

  • we need much more of this, Brilliant !!!!!

  • @SamsSpaghetti That's not a bad idea actually, will pass it on to ukuncut and see what they think. Probably lives in a gated community though

As I've said, we had no intention of stopping anyone from shopping, topshop (and the other shops) decided to close themselves, we did not block anyone from entering (or leaving the shops) - the police and security stopped them at topshop. When I was leafletting and talking to people, no-one expressed annoyance to me directly.

  • @brumprotestor Thats bollocks your exact intention was to get to get Topshop closed down for the day and you succeeded even if it was just for a short while. You were disruptive to shopping customers and that not fair just like it's not fair that there are people who are not paying their taxes, lifes a bitch.

  • @Sara140384 nope - I'm only talking about Brum, the protest in the video here. When we arrived at topshop some people had already decided to go for the replacing mannequins action suggested by ukuncut and everyone else tried to follow. This would not have disrupted shoppers at all.. Topshop/bullring/police decided not to let us go there and forced us into the shopping centre, we did not block or try to block the doors, security/police cleared the area and stopped people entering.

  • what a shit protest..

  • @SamsSpaghetti The most sensible comment I've read on here.

  • LOOKS FUN

  • if i knew this was happening i might have joined in

  • @mudassirul keep an eye on ukuncut.org.uk for announcements for future actions

  • students got OWNED!!!!!! :D

  • Student activism FTW.....time for a revolution

  • Errmm my whole wardrobe is essentially from Topman....

If it closed down i would be totally screwed xD.

  • I commend these protesters. Why should there be one rule for us, and then another rule for the rich.

The rich get away with murder (slave-labour) and with not paying taxes...and we, the people, are paying for their greed.

Time the people start a revolution against these baskets.

  • Fuck it if I could avoid tax I would...

  • Carry On protesting, you have half the country with you. Horahhh

  • i love you guys mann

  • Students, pay your own fees! Students, pay your own fees! Students, pay your own fees!

  • @mrkmclachlan06 fuck off you tory pig!

  • @nighrage So you want the owner of Topshop to pay taxes but you also want everyone else to pay for stuff for you? How about pay your own!

  • @mrkmclachlan06 thats why we pay taxes, mate! why do the poor have to suffer when the greedy cooperate giants get away from paying the taxes especially with the fucking tory pigs complaining that they can fund public services.

the government is here to serve us not the cooperate entities you idiot

  • what a bunch of fools...

  • i love how students spend there days off..
