That's not the way I do IT at my school. I learn those formulas differently. In that it's SA=2(areaof base)+(perimeter of base)x height. I think I'll still with that way rather than his.
Ah thank you this explains alot, but for the cylinder 2ft is a bad example because it took me a while and i tried (pi r squared) and got the same answer but it doesnt if u use other numbers(Thats what confused me)...

Two of you are wrong. The title doesn't say you have to find the solid/volume because the title says find the surface area only. You have to find another mathematical lesson video from him.
