I love that unspoken moment ending "Designated Target" with DiNozzo giving David a cryptically knowing look because David was confronted earlier in the episode by the wife of the African political refugee about soul mates. She said, "When you have a soul mate, you will know."

I think David wanted to know if it was true between her and DiNozzo. I think DiNozzo knows she is his equal but he can't bring himself to admit it so David ends up waiting once more.

@triplexxxsatyr i think Ziva knows he is her soul mate and Tony knows the same but they are not afraid to tell the other i think they are afraid if the do they will get together and break rule 12 and have to confront gibbs because everyone knows gibbs will find out. So i think they are afraid of gibbs in the end of all this.

Ziva: The reflection.

To me, they both have impulse issues: they don't act on them when it's between the two of them. Ziva's compelling response is equally provocative because in an indirect and implied way, she's telling Tony, "Look who's talking."

Have you ever heard the greek myth of how once everyone had another person attatched to them so they had two arms four legs two heads and so on and they shared the same soul but they were seperated at birth only to find them again later in life rather or not they notice is up to them maybe people hide from noticing with humor like tony or with anger and destructuon like ziva but i think they will stop hiding soon.
