It's actually a City Of London Police Ford Focus Dog Vehicle. The MET and CoLP have mutual agreements to help each other out.

CoLP dog vehicles have an outline of a dog, and below it DOG UNIT, in reflective yellow material. This can be seen clearly in this video..

You wouldn't be unable to see clearly the Ford Demonstrator logo due to it's size and colour.

Well the reason is that the other cars can go off in different directions if needed and block off any potential exits.They can also perform a Tpac remover on any wide roads.Plus when.if the driver is caught it's going to need more than one officer to hold him down safely if he fights.

I can assure you it is not, it is clearly a Ford Focus estate dog unit, you can see the rear windows are mirrored and there is a dog logo. It is also practice that the dog unit will be at the back of the pursuit and if it was a traffic car it would be at or near the front. It is definately not a Met car, unfortunately I cant see the national force indentifier code on the roof to see what force its from

It is true that if it was a traffic unit, it would be near the front ( but maybe it had only just joined the chase and had not had time yet to get to the front, which is what i think). Also, it is not standard practice for dog units to be near the back, it is standard practice for the dog unit to be near the front, in case of a decamp (bail out).

It is DEFINITELY not an MPS traffic car. Not only does the service not use the ford focus as a traffic car, but they did not have a contract with Woodway/Whelen to supply them with sirens - as heard in this video. BMW 530d and Vauxhall Omega estates are the only marked cars the MPS uses for traffic duties.
