But, this bill is not the way to do it. Trading one bad situation for another solves nothing.

When are we going to totally drop the "party" system?

There was no mention of it in the original Constitution. What they did in those days was the electors voted for one person. They voted for President, and whoever got the second-most votes became the vice president. That makes lots of sense!

In order to make this an effective move, he has to first demonize this private market by targeting "Wall Street". Don't forget that we want smaller government as well. We need a fair tax code (sales tax with no income tax?) where companies don't have to pay protection money to politicians or influence politicians for big government handouts. We should get the federal government out of our schools, do something about abortion and address tort reform. I feel some anti-trust type action against the unions is in order as well.
