It's a mod for the source engine created by Valve and used for popular games made by them such as Half Life 2 and Counter Strike Source. To get a source game you need a steam account which is free and then either buy a source on steam or go to stores to find some things such as the Orange Box. Just make sure you get a recent game by them such as Half Life 2. (To see if it's recent just check the game pictures and they should look like normal current games) Whew that was a lot.
