5th Element IMO was that last TRUE sci-fi movie to ever be made, and what a bleedin sci-fi it was! To this day no sci-fi can take as much finese with so little explanation and nonsense, and yet make a movie with imortally loved characters, a great and colorful story (better yet made from a lack luster stock story) and pull all of it together into an abstract and just plain amazing story, bravo, bravo
