my tears started streaming when I saw the all the blood on Justin as he was being pulled out of the ambulance. That was 10 years ago and I'm still crying over this scene today. It was just brilliantly written, acted, and directed. and Kudos to whoever was musical supervisor.
Gale is fantastic. He's so subtle in his acting, but what he does is so powerful. At 1.57, you just know that Brian is remembering that first night at the hospital, even before they show the clip of them running down the hallway. Gale manages to show this, simply by lifting his eyes a little. So beautifully done!

Brian didn't cry when his father died. He didn't cry when Michael was about to leave the country with David. He didn't cry when many terrible things happened to him ...
His tears fell down when he thought that he might lose Justin forever. That accident was absolutely like a shock that awakened his true feelings for Justin

I really wish more people knew just how big an impact this show had on so many people.! Five seasons and it won the hearts of millions...thanks cast for one of the greatest experiences of this lifetime--or TV history.
This is one of the most powerful scenes through out the whole five seasons. This scene makes me cry everytime, with out fail. I think that the music that is played over the scene makes it even more effective, if that's the right word, and I don't think that there is a more perfect piece of music that could have been played over it.
This was really powerful to watch. I don't know what hurt me more to see: Justin being hit or Brian's reaction. And he keeps the scarf throught the entire series!

Gale was just amazing in this scene...and during the whole QAF series. He brought Brian Kinney to life. I miss watching him every week, and I miss this show.
P.S. I don't remember what episode it was but when Ben is in the hospital and Michael thanked Brian for being there for him, Brian told him that if Michael wasn't there for him when Justin got hurt he wouldn't have made it...that just proves how hurt he actually was when this happened
It's soooo hard for me to sit and watch the end of this episode and see Brian's face filled with so much pain and to see how hard he's trying not to cry...yet it's like I'm glued to the screen and I don't want to turn away because Gale makes it seem so real, like it's actually happening to him in that moment. I hate this part yet I love because it proves how much Brian does love Justin...

It was my favorite show but then I got interested in other things and kept forgetting to watch it...the very end of the show, the series finale, was kind of a cliffhanger for fans. It left us to where we could determine if they were happy or not...

This is so beautiful - brilliant acting, made me cry alongside him! The fact that they show the last time they were in the hospital, and constrast the emotion with this scene is so sad and works so well.

Even though i hate gay people, this video kinda made me shed a tear. It's very sad that a gay person gets bashed just because they're gay. The number of hate-crimes increases almost everyday day here in south. Southern states are so anti-gay, lots of them are capable of committing hate-crimes toward gay people. The raw emotion in this clip and the simply fantastic and heart wrenching proformance from Gale Harrold touched me when I first saw this episode.Brian always loved Justin and as someone says Brian rarely got upset and this scene proves just how much he cared for Justin.
From everything that I can remember on TV, this is one of the saddest, most heart retching scene I have ever saw, and to this day, when I see it, when I hear the Requiem Mass movement with the soprano sax overtop, my heart falls to part, and the tears cannot stop flowing.
This shot was one of the most amazing scenes in television history. Too bad so many didn't get to see it. To me it's also amazing how Brian played the facade for 5 years that he didn't love Justin...when everyone can see he did in the very first episode. Brian Kinney doesn't cry...unless it really hurts.

I think this opened Brians eyes. The fact that you don't know what you've got till it's gone springs to mind in this scene . Brian thinks he's lost his sunshine and without sunshine, it will all be dark for brian. Brill acting Gale, Hats off to you :)

That dance was the most emotionally intense I have ever seen! They are SUCH good actors - you could feel the love, and it really showed up the 'dissaproving' faces of his schoolmates because it did just look so RIGHT! Lol, love 'em. XXX

It was my favorite show but then I got interested in other things and kept forgetting to watch it...the very end of the show, the series finale, was kind of a cliffhanger for fans. It left us to where we could determine if they were happy or not...

@sikatgigi1 yeah, justin asked brian to go to the prom with him but he said no. Then actually during prom brian shows up and him and justin dance. After that they go to the parking lot and once brian gets into his jeep and justin in walking away, chris hobbs hit him in the head with a bat...bastard XD1

@sikatgigi1 pretty much everyone on this show ended up happy...I just didn't like the fact that at the very end of the show, brian and justin didn't get married...but they were happy :D.

@sikatgigi1 uumm...yeah I'm bursting your bubble again but...Justin goes to New York because of his art...but they tell each other that they love each other and that they will see each other again, which is what I meant by the cliffhanger. Whether they will be together in the future or not, is left up to us, the fans. If we want to keep Justin/Brian alive or not...

@sikatgigi1 yeah, they both went through a lot during this show...brian almost lost justin 3 times...I think. It might've been 2. Justin has been telling Brian that he's loved him from the beginning. In the last season, like the 3rd or 4th episode before the show ends, Brian tells sunshine XD that he loves him so...I was like o.O when he said that!!

This is so beautiful - brilliant acting, made me cry alongside him! The fact that they show the last time they were in the hospital, and constrast the emotion with this scene is so sad and works so well.

Even though i hate gay people, this video kinda made me shed a tear. It's very sad that a gay person gets bashed just because they're gay. The number of hate-crimes increases almost everyday day here in south. Southern states are so anti-gay, lots of them are capable of committing hate-crimes toward gay people. Even their own parents would stop loving them and hurt them if their child is gay. That's very awful.

The raw emotion in this clip and the simply fantastic and heart wrenching proformance from Gale Harrold touched me when I first saw this episode.Brian always loved Justin and as someone says Brian rarely got upset and this scene proves just how much he cared for Justin.

This shot was one of the most amazing scenes in television history. Too bad so many didn't get to see it. To me it's also amazing how Brian played the facade for 5 years that he didn't love Justin...when everyone can see he did in the very first episode. Brian Kinney doesn't cry...unless it really hurts.

I think this opened Brians eyes. The fact that you don't know what you've got till it's gone springs to mind in this scene . Brian thinks he's lost his sunshine and without sunshine, it will all be dark for brian. Brill acting Gale, Hats off to you :)

That dance was the most emotionally intense I have ever seen! They are SUCH good actors - you could feel the love, and it really showed up the 'dissaproving' faces of his schoolmates because it did just look so RIGHT! Lol, love 'em. XXX

This scene was so moving in fact the whole of this episode had me in floods of tears.Yes you are right Gale totally stole the show on this episode such an amazing actor and his emotional portrayal here of the way Brian felt and was grieving for justin produced perhaps one of if not the best episode of the series.Well done in this video the music is perfect and the clips have me crying yet again such a good job well done.
