Naraku's desire for Kikyo is only from the strong lust Onigumo showed for her. @cutie235100 correction... Naraku NEVER was the one to love kikyo.. Onignimo.. loved Kikyo! Onignimo had died, except his heart was still alive and beating inside of Naraku, which Naraku tried soo hard to get rid of. But Naraku himself was just a collection of demons.. who devoured Onignimo. He thought, w/ the help of the demons, who wld devour his body, he wld in return be able to move & be with kikyo.. but little did he know.. the demons had a mind of their own, who he let devour him.

But Naraku is brutal.. and onigumo is just plain badd..but wldnt be AS brutal as Naraku.. Naraku lives, because he is connected to onigumo's heart. Once that heart is destroyed.. naraku dies.. thats the only big diff.
