WOW! Where were you the last few Comic Years? The art is more cooler now (although some may Disagree), and now this is one of marvel's greatest Events by some Standards! And here's a quick rundown of what happened: The avengers got disassembled, the Mutant population was decreased drastically, a civil war happened, cap died, hulk was sent to space, then he came back and nearly destroyed manhattan, then he got calm, and then NO here got the Shield position.

It stinks that guys like ghost rider(johnny and danny),hulk,and such don't get included much in events like this. Stinks cuz with the work Jason Aaron did on the ghost riders..They could easily take sentry down,though that's probably why they're not included lol I wish they'd let frank pop up again even though he's frankencastle now. I just want to see the characters reactions to him not being dead after all. I can't wait to see what shocker they pull in 4.

Really dug the music choice as well. In Flames helped set the scope and atmosphere of the pages...... I've seen many an epic slideshow ruined by some crappy Nickelback tracks.....so thanks for not making this one of those. Cheers!

Here's the thing about Sentry. He's in the wrong battlefields, fighting for human acceptance, & fighting himself as well (a.k.a The Void). I think in order for him to regain his honor & dignity back as a superhero. He needs to forget what earth can give him, & take his battles into space like Nova did. Given the way his powers progress, he has the potential of being considered a cosmic being. I think he'll find true meaning if he just fights the good fight out there.

@Matt102585 The artist name is Olivier Coipel, his artwork is similar to that of Steve McNiven who illustrated for the Main 7 books of Maverl Comics Civil War...Both artists of course have their own styles, just like how Alex Ross realistic comic book art compares to Adi Granov's style of realism comic book art does, but yeah, Oliver is the man on this project.

Well, Thor was holding back against Wolverine, since Thor holds back against everyone. And Wolverine was giving it his all trying to kill who he thought was Sabretooth. Thor and Sentry will be epic. But what we will see isn't going to be holding back Thor, it's going to be Pissed off Thor, which is incredibly powerful. Thor will probably win. I mean, Thor is a God.
@gtravcool15 Just wondering with the whole God thing, and Thor being pissed off and such, because he has every right too. I would love for Thor to blast the hell out of Sentry, but it could be possible for the Sentry to reach power levels of Galactus, Living Tribunal, The Brothers, and even The One Above All, because his power levels seem endless. An just being a pissed off God just might be not be enough. Thor needs to go after the real culprit...Loki his brother for having a part in the Siege.
Sentry does have a limit to his strength. Thor does too, but it probably exceeds Sentry. Thor's physical strength is so high it can be considered Infinite. He has stood against Zeus in physical combat pushing himself to the limit for months on end with out tiring in the slightest. Thor also has Mjolnir. Sentry is strong and all. But Thor is stronger. And Norman did the one thing that you never do. Attacked thor's home.
It has been said that Sentry's powers are "Potentially" limitless, and that he "May" be able to match the likes of Thor. But Thor's strength is so great that it is considered limitless. And since this is Siege on Asgard, Thor's a major player, so I see him winning because of that fact.
Mjolnir gives Thor a few abilities, but Thor is still incredibly strong, incredibly fast, incredibly durable, and has massive stamina. And when he has mjolnir he can do so much more, but without Mjolnir he would still stalemate Sentry, with it, he'll win.
After reading the dark avengers comics (and seeing the vids of some episodes that I haven't read), I can safely say two things. 1) In any future green scar vs sentry fights, we can no longer use the world war hulk event as a reference only because sentry is a LOT LOT more stronger than he was back then. Sorry fellow hulk fans but still it would be tough to say who would win that one this time and 2) As epic as the upcoming Thor vs Sentry fight will be, its tough to say who would actually win
thor and Sentry. That will be an Epic fight. I see Thor winning that fight. Thor is pissed and there is few beings in the universe that can withstand Thor, Galactus had to flee for his life when Thor godblasted him, Sentry beat Ares, but Ares isn't anywhere near Thor. Thor will fight Sentry and Thor will probably win. But Thor is my favorite, so I'm biased.
I know very little about Sentry, but is he always getting bossed around? My personal belief is that at some point Sentry will develop his on figurative ball sack and stop taking orders from Stark, Cap, and especially Osborne. Provided he may still struggle with Void, he just won't shut down as I've seen happen to him.

@waterboyneb Well Ares was brought down from the Hulk in "World War Hulk" story arc with no sweat, but Sentry brought it to the Hulk with almost equal amount of energy both reverting back into the human counter parts. Bob had collapsed, while Bruce was still standing. No telling how far he excelled in power from that battle with the Hulk. Ares had no chance, but fought with heart.

@waterboyneb While Thor is one of my favorite heroes, and I hold him in high regards, Sentry has been characterized in comics as "the man with the power of 1 million exploding suns" (may not be exact) and Ares is also a God like Thor. While I think Thor will put up a decent fight, I think Sentry is just out of his reach. As far as I can remember (I have little knowledge so correct me if I'm wrong) Sentry has only been stalemated by the Hulk and Galactus

if u remember in the previous issue, Dr. doom out smarted them when they attacked them in the meeting. He wasn't tehre physically, it was a robot and it almost killed everyone in the tower, no matter what they send at them they'll always get tricked by loki or outsmarted by doom. sentry being on osbornes team is the only reason hes in charage. so of course osborne wont be taken out unless sentrey has any say. but with sentry distracted osborne and his minions may be taken out without sentry interfearense. sentry is my number one favorete right now but if he loses against thor. thor will get me as a fan.

@Matt102585 The artist name is Olivier Coipel, his artwork is similar to that of Steve McNiven who illustrated for the Main 7 books of Maverl Comics Civil War...Both artists of course have their own styles, just like how Alex Ross realistic comic book art compares to Adi Granov's style of realism comic book art does, but yeah, Oliver is the man on this project.

am a litle bit confused about everyones power from time to time i seen thor fight with wolverine,it was a close match wolverine got a fuw good licks in on thor,it was kinda a draw,but wolverine got his ass almost handed to him in his own storyline by ares and sentry shredded ares so where does thor stand in a fight with sentry,i know wolverine has claws that cut through everything and he heals to thors blasts but stil am wondering if thor can realy beat sentry,witch i hope itl be a draw

Well, Thor was holding back against Wolverine, since Thor holds back against everyone. And Wolverine was giving it his all trying to kill who he thought was Sabretooth. Thor and Sentry will be epic. But what we will see isn't going to be holding back Thor, it's going to be Pissed off Thor, which is incredibly powerful. Thor will probably win. I mean, Thor is a God.

I would love for Thor to blast the hell out of Sentry, but it could be possible for the Sentry to reach power levels of Galactus, Living Tribunal, The Brothers, and even The One Above All, because his power levels seem endless. An just being a pissed off God just might be not be enough. Thor needs to go after the real culprit...Loki his brother for having a part in the Siege.

Sentry does have a limit to his strength. Thor does too, but it probably exceeds Sentry. Thor's physical strength is so high it can be considered Infinite. He has stood against Zeus in physical combat pushing himself to the limit for months on end with out tiring in the slightest. Thor also has Mjolnir. Sentry is strong and all. But Thor is stronger. And Norman did the one thing that you never do. Attacked thor's home.

It has been said that Sentry's powers are "Potentially" limitless, and that he "May" be able to match the likes of Thor. But Thor's strength is so great that it is considered limitless. And since this is Siege on Asgard, Thor's a major player, so I see him winning because of that fact.

Mjolnir gives Thor a few abilities, but Thor is still incredibly strong, incredibly fast, incredibly durable, and has massive stamina. And when he has mjolnir he can do so much more, but without Mjolnir he would still stalemate Sentry, with it, he'll win.

After reading the dark avengers comics (and seeing the vids of some episodes that I haven't read), I can safely say two things. 1) In any future green scar vs sentry fights, we can no longer use the world war hulk event as a reference only because sentry is a LOT LOT more stronger than he was back then. Sorry fellow hulk fans but still it would be tough to say who would win that one this time and 2) As epic as the upcoming Thor vs Sentry fight will be, its tough to say who would actually win

thor and Sentry. That will be an Epic fight. I see Thor winning that fight. Thor is pissed and there is few beings in the universe that can withstand Thor, Galactus had to flee for his life when Thor godblasted him, Sentry beat Ares, but Ares isn't anywhere near Thor. Thor will fight Sentry and Thor will probably win. But Thor is my favorite, so I'm biased.

I know very little about Sentry, but is he always getting bossed around? My personal belief is that at some point Sentry will develop his on figurative ball sack and stop taking orders from Stark, Cap, and especially Osborne. Provided he may still struggle with Void, he just won't shut down as I've seen happen to him.

@waterboyneb Well Ares was brought down from the Hulk in "World War Hulk" story arc with no sweat, but Sentry brought it to the Hulk with almost equal amount of energy both reverting back into the human counter parts. Bob had collapsed, while Bruce was still standing. No telling how far he excelled in power from that battle with the Hulk. Ares had no chance, but fought with heart.

@waterboyneb While Thor is one of my favorite heroes, and I hold him in high regards, Sentry has been characterized in comics as "the man with the power of 1 million exploding suns" (may not be exact) and Ares is also a God like Thor. While I think Thor will put up a decent fight, I think Sentry is just out of his reach. As far as I can remember (I have little knowledge so correct me if I'm wrong) Sentry has only been stalemated by the Hulk and Galactus

i was talking about healing factor we already know he will "go down" somehow at the end, and probably by PIS (Plot Induced Stupidity) but yeah ultimately Sentry have all the powers of these three: Hulk, Superman and what Thor can do by magic Sentry can do it by molecule manipulation (only need the experience)
but of course he is the villain now so we all know whats gonna happen.

I was just thinking what if Phobos with his fear powers fights the Sentry using the Void against him to avenge his father. I think it would be a great way for an underapreciated hero to step up, and earn his stripes in the eyes of the other heroes.

if u remember in the previous issue, Dr. doom out smarted them when they attacked them in the meeting. He wasn't tehre physically, it was a robot and it almost killed everyone in the tower, no matter what they send at them they'll always get tricked by loki or outsmarted by doom. And doom has a god machine

Nate grey's greatest powers are based on telepathy. It's already been shown that although Sentry has little control, he has immensely powerful telepathic power (>Professor X). Sentry's only weakness is psychological or possibly magic

sentry being on osbornes team is the only reason hes in charage. so of course osborne wont be taken out unless sentrey has any say. but with sentry distracted osborne and his minions may be taken out without sentry interfearense. sentry is my number one favorete right now but if he loses against thor. thor will get me as a fan.
but the part where Daken got fried was a unmentioned favorite in my book.
