It's a lovely shawl & w/ shell stitch looks even prettier. Is it possible to email me @ least the starting instructions. I've always wanted to make a triangular shawl like this for my mother. Thank you
If possible, please show us how you start the shawl; it's beautiful and would love to make one for my mom and myself. I bet your Nana loved hers! Thank you for sharing...
I would just like to say that the shawl is beautiful and exactly what I am looking for. Is it possible for you to email me the instructions? I would love to start making some of these for some of the folks in the nursing home that I visit. My email address is

It is beautiful! and that is such a lovely pink colour, so shimmery. I think you did a great job improvising the pattern to work for you, I am still trying to learn that skill.
@TheKittykat100 that cat is Hope a she cat, she recently had cancer in her leg and had to have her leg removed but she is doing great now and her new nickname is Hop - E ;)

Such a beautiful shawl. You should be proud, and I know your granny is loving it. Beautiful stitches. I could hear your sweet cart purring in the background. :)
I love your shawl your improvising work out beautfully. I also had problem with certain patterns I also change them to work out. Either instructions too brief or complicated to understand I pass them up. I bet your Granny will love the shawl. Thank you Sharing.
Very lovely shawl. I would do the same thing you mentioned with improvising, when I could not understand instructions. Improvising is a great tool to use with written instructions.
One of the things about written instructions is there can be so many ways to write them. Some people will write limited details for each row description so it is very difficult to know what to do. I have learned that more is better in the case of writing instructions. I am sure the I can improve my style too. Do you go my American or English instructions? The difference between the stitches is confusing. Some Americans will mix in English and American abbreviations.
