  • I love your shawl your improvising work out beautfully. I also had problem with certain patterns I also change them to work out. Either instructions too brief or complicated to understand I pass them up. I bet your Granny will love the shawl. Thank you Sharing.

  • Very lovely shawl. I would do the same thing you mentioned with improvising, when I could not understand instructions. Improvising is a great tool to use with written instructions.

  • thanks yes Im still trying to get use to reading patterns I find it very hard

  • One of the things about written instructions is there can be so many ways to write them. Some people will write limited details for each row description so it is very difficult to know what to do. I have learned that more is better in the case of writing instructions. I am sure the I can improve my style too. Do you go my American or English instructions? The difference between the stitches is confusing. Some Americans will mix in English and American abbreviations.
