The actual beginning of the video is on higher speed than normal.

This explosion process is quite normal when wet steel is put in a liquid batch as second or third charge. The water turns instantly into steam with an enormous expansion rate. It is very dangerous when this happens and additional shutters are dropped down in front of the control room.

It is wise to be not in the furnace area or at least be behind some form of shield in double layered fire proof clothing.
